#57 Clearing out our 60sqm Italian henhouse - from start to finish

The henhouse is one of our outbuildings and our favourite side-project. This video is a narrated overview of what we've done there so far, and our plans for the future.
We're Isis & Bertus, a belgian-dutch couple. In the summer of 2023 we moved into a neglected farmhouse in a tiny village in the northwest of Italy. The last inhabitants left some 15 years ago, but large parts of the property have been empty for well over 20 years.

My Mr is also commenting - we watch your vlogs together. Awesome video this week. Sometimes compilations can be a cop-out but not yours! You make the older footage fresh and several times we said “ooh, don’t remember that bit!” even though we’ve seen all your episodes. 😅 Isis’ closing words were most timely. We have a couple of projects of our own that are still ongoing and seem to be very slow in progress so it was a good reminder that any progress is progress and it’s not always going to be easy or obvious. Thank you for this program, this renovation shared with the world(?). I always look forward to the next chapter and even watch reruns just for the hell of it. Your work ethic is amazing, don’t know how you do it. One thing I worry about is Isis’ gorgeous hair. I don’t know how you can do all the work you do with it hanging all over. And then keeping it clean. How do you do it! I mention it because I can’t stand my own long hair sticking to my sweaty neck, it drives me crazy! So I keep it up in a bun most of the time. Problem solved.

Ciao scusate se mi permetto, perchè non vi mettete delle tute da meccanici per fare di questi lavori? Mi dispiace vedere che vi riempite, in modo incredibile di polvere gli indumenti che indossate.
