Something about your Ana I’ve noticed is that you don’t go for a lot of damage all the time like others. Is there a reason why? Not questioning your skill cause you’re godly, just curious.

the best way I can explain this is, he is doing what he has determined is the most valuable thing he can be doing at any particular moment. what is most valuable depends on a lot of factors, including team comp (and especially the other support). yes, Ana can do a fair amount of damage, and there are a LOT of times when he will just focus on doing damage. but good players don't just do damage because they CAN, they do it because that will contribute the most value to the team. so he does lots of damage, but he does it strategically. he does it when damage is the most impactful thing. he will heal when it is the most impactful thing. there is a video of his called unconventional Ana gameplay or decision making. it's on Kings Row, the other support is Bap, and ml takes some wacky angles and does a lot of damage and gets kills because Bap can handle the rest of the team, it freed ml up to focus mainly on damage. so! it's all about contributing value to the team and knowing what will benefit the team the most at any given moment.
