what if the concept is new and no study has been conducted before, hence no existing theory available ... in that case one can't use SEM, as you say.??

How can we group the variables into one construct, so the diagram is neat?

Can this diagram be made without using AMOS software? I am using SPSS only for applying exploratory factor analysis
