Also loved your comment on the "perfect day"! I could not agree more. Many moons ago, my brother and I had a firewood business when we were in college. During winter/Christmas break, we would get up early, cut and stack for a while and then hit an all you can eat breakfast buffet. We ate like it was our last meal! The cook came out and wanted to meet us in person! Awesome calorie burner.....splitting and stacking wood all day!

Nice bucket. Looks like it would work great for removing medium sized rocks if you need to and the grapple for larger rocks. I owned a medium sized landscaping company in Tampa Bay for twenty years and have had at least a dozen trailers. Your trailer looks like a very nice trailer. Good job.Plus I love the new dump trailer. They didn't used to make the gates with the ability to tailgate like yours, such a nice feature. I know how you feel about people's great ideas, they think about it for one minute and think they know more than you, even though your out there doing the work and spending numerous hours thinking about every angle and the pros and cons. M&M I really like the videos. Been watching for about 8 months now and I am a subscriber. Always good seeing Hunter. The great thing about the firewood bucket is that if you pick up some gravel or dirt with the firewood you just have to shake the bucket a bit and it will fall out! Great addition to your inventory!

Impressive I figured the grapple bucket would work as well but was surprised how much better the new bucket works.

Your perfect day sounds a lot like what a perfect day for me would be. I think it's my Canadian heritage that makes me prefer working outside in the winter than any other time of year. No bugs and not much sweating! We only get the Sheetz out here if we eat at Taco Bell!!

Mike, Melissa, Only thing I would recommend would be to put either a large tree or the concrete "lego" blocks on the side of your wood pile opposite of your tractor. It will keep your wood pile from shifting as you push in with the tractor. NICE ATTACHMENT!!! EXCELLENT VIDEOS!!!

The squeak when you curl your RK37 grapple may be the level indicator rod. My 37 did that too and bugged the heck out of me trying to figure it out. Sprayed some WD40 down the indicator tube and fixed it. FYI

No Sheetz here in Louisiana but lots of Circle K gas stations. Love your videos Mike and Melissa keep pushing. 100K not far off.Temps have been in the mid 90's all September. We are supposed to get our first cold front next week. Then we will be in the 80's!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is Virginia, we've had Sheetz gas stations for many years. When I have to travel to Baltimore (which has been too frequent lately) I stop at Sheetz in Winchester VA. My favorite restaurant was closed the last trip, so it was a double fuel stop of gasoline and a Sheetz meatball sub with fries on it. It beats McDonalds. I plan my trips so that I don't have to purchase fuel in either MD or PA due to the high prices, which on average are more than 40 cents per gallon higher than VA. Love that Sheetz stations have more than 20 fuel pumps for fast fueling and great prices compared to the big fuel companies.

My perfect day is just being outdoors doing anything relating to the outdoors, then after hanging out in the elements and here lately hot and dry weather, i go in and have a evening meal then crash in my recliner and my little buddy jumps in my lap and we both are out like a light. that is my perfect day, staying outdoors then go in and have a crashed out evening. Ah total relaxation after a day out there. Enjoy it by the way. Uh both the outdoors and relaxation. We have a Sheetz about oh 50 some miles south from here in Hickory NC. I reside west of Boone NC. That's the only one close to here I know of. Melissa and Hunter are a great team on camera. Hunter is on his way to stardom Why he may even someday have his own channel "Hunter's Corner" I'd watch that. It's always a pleasure to see your videos and what you do. We saw plenty of Sheetz stores while on vacation in Pennsylvania a couple of years ago. We don’t have here in Louisiana. Comparable to them we have Circle K. BTW, Pennsylvania is a beautiful green state. I was surprised by how much agriculture I saw.

Here in Central PA, we have a Sheetz store on nearly every corner. Great place to get gas and an MTO sandwich.

What's interesting is different places do different things and that's okay. I don't think people would suggested 50 trailers. However people around here buy wood the same year as its cut. I can relate meaning it doesn't hit the ground until it's delivered to the customer. They are set up to burn the previous years wood and the fresh cut is just sitting at there home not ours. The reason is anticipating a lower cost this year per cord as a rise in cost may occur . Some people in the business may have large volumes of customers and sell a few hundred cord and don't have a lager area to handle/store it to sell as seasoned. I love the tote thing and works excellent for some but not all. Every customer we all service has different requirements and applications. So I think it's fair to say others including myself suggested into the dump trailer off the belt as that how we droit to create less work. We all just do it a bit different. We may drop it, junk it, split it ,and deliver it in the same day. We all do our best to fill the order and fill the need. They specialty clean split business is great but it's a segment not the majority customer around these parts.

Hello Hunter. Mike, that firewood bucket works great. No Sheetz here in SC that I know of. Lots of QT though. Last time I saw a Sheetz was in Pa. driving to State College. Melissa, hope you saw my email of various shows in the southeast US. Also, 2 Rural Kings near Jeep Invasion in TN. And lots of gun shows in the south also.

That bucket is the bomb. Works as advertised. Do you think it would work to bring rounds into a pile where you cut and scoop them and bring them to the splitter or just eaiser to pick them up ? Im sure you are going to enjoy it either way . You all have a week !

Back in the old days, we had tractors in Montana that would pop a front spindle sometimes with a heavy load and rough terrain. You might want to discuss that with your mechanic. I know you are showing how efficient your machines are, but there were times in the woods when I used to shut off the tractor, shut off the chainsaw, and just feel the woods. Have a good'un, y'all.

Mike, I’d really like to see a video on the cost to produce one cord of firewood. Also, be neat to see how much energy is produced by one cord of firewood as compared to natural gas and electricity on a cost basis.

I just came up with another use for the manure buckets that you see around cattle operations they are very similar in design

So many other uses for that bucket. Pile of dirt with roots and rocks... remove all the rocks and brush, leave the dirt... Second as you emptied the bucket you still had gravel and yucky stuff... second time you curled the bucket twice and each time you shook out the gargage... Hunter is cool. Reminds me of our Hailey... Wants to be the center of attention but only for a second! She is nine with non verbal autism... Her books have to go with her everywhere.

Wow I just purchased a Rock Bucket myself ....Nice channel we do a little bit a firewood as well !!! And make some hardwood lumber and kiln dry it. Presently making a splitter with two ol' GOATS haha LOL- I will let you know when we complete it and put the trail run on da tube !!

Hello M & M ...to be more effective I'd build a retaining wall, similar to those in timber / building yards/depots...(perhaps from timber) to halt the wood from shifting when you pick up with your bucket.

Firewood/rock buckets work even better on a Telahandler or Lull. Something with extendable reach. Wish I had that much Cherry wood. BBQ places like to buy Cherry. I scoop the wood up. Then position the bucket next to the tote and stack the wood in the totes. Less bending over.

Hi Mike, great bucket! In your opinion is that bucket heavy duty enough to serve as a rock hound as well as a wood bucket? I could see putting the teeth in the ground 3 or 4 inches, tractor in low gear, to pull up roots or catch rocks for a new yard.
