I seen a vid on YT where the guy upgrades the NVME, his RAM and puts an SSD in, but he takes the case of the SSD and it's like less than half the size of the SSD case! He then put some non-conductive tape around it and you could still see half of the fan!... also don't forget that cpu fan moves some air!
Thank you for sharing this video. I have a Beelink SRE 5 Max Ryzen 7 5800H and I am going to install an external GPU that will connect to my M2 NVme drive port. Is it possible to use my Nvme drive using a Sata enclosure and connect it to the Sata port ? This way I won't have to buy a new SSD and I can use my Nvme drive that has all my softwares and OS installed. Is there an Adapter or enclosure available to accomplish this task ? I came across with this on amazon "M.2 to U.2 Adapter - for M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs - PCIe M.2 Drive to U.2 (SFF-8639) Host Adapter - M2 SSD Converter (U2M2E125)" I am not sure whether it will work with my mini pc or not ?
