Huge congrats. I was very amazed by Marcin's 41/41 a couple years ago. Then completely stunned by Shivam's 48/48... And now, I'm speechless about your skills. 57, 59, 58 cubes out of 60. You are very talented. Huge congrats again!
Hi! ✌️ The points are calculated as (Number of cubes solved correctly) minus (Number of cubes not solved correctly) And you have a 1 hour time limit for the memorization and solving combined. If 2 people get the same number of points, time is the tiebreaker. If two people get the same number of points and time, the person with fewer unsolved cubes wins.
I am so flippen happy for you Graham, your attempts were at midnight my time and I'm busy with exam studying, so every morning I would refresh wca Live and I was so happy to see your results!! You're the motivation that got me started on multibld Dec last year, and got me to low 20 cube attempts now. Even after 2 failed official attempts at breaking AfR, watching some of your videos kept me going and I strive to one day do 50+ officially. Keep going my man!!!!
Thanks for this video! I've watched it at least 20 time by now, and you've motivated my to learn 3bld. I've already solved once and I give you full credit for that!
Congrats on your PB mo3, 56 points is just too high. Also congrats on performing well in 4BLD too, getting a mean there. Doing 59/60 for the 6th is a big feat, hope I can atleast catch-up to the half score of yours. The reaction was also pretty epic, with lot of people surprised and elated.
Wowowowowoww!! You absolutely smashed the world record at that comp :D Finally payday, we all knew you could get these nearly-60 points! Keep going, we're looking forward to those 70 points ;)
After long journey you did it! Actual good result which is pretty high above anyones abilities nowadays, now your every comp wouldn't be just a lot of stress to be decent, now you can confidently go for something bigger. P.S. What happened on 2 dnfs from 58/60 and why was it 60:00?
Bro, you are awesome! I have been watching your videos for a year already, that time you were not a wr holder, but I knew that one day your result will be much better than anyone else! Congrates!
damn iirc that's a 9 point jump from the last wr (not counting the 57/60) also i was anticipating when you would break 50 points, but saying you finally broke the 50-point barrier would be an understatement
I'm trying to memorize ONE T-perm for the 2x2 (don't laugh you were all n00bs once too) - and Graham Siggins does 59 of 3x3 blindfolded in under an hour. Holy crap! Respect. !!
Woah ... that is just awesome to be able to produce a result like that at comp. I was thinking you would get a 53-55 soon but straight to 58 is just amazing. I think the MBld WR is going to last for a long time once you have finally finished with it.
Absolutely legendary. IMO, 56 point MO3 with nobody else above 48 single replaces 41/41 as the furthest ahead of world #2 a world #1 MBLD solver has ever been. I hope you decide to upload your other two rounds from this comp as well.
Why do you always put classical music in your videos? Do you play piano? By the way, I grew up playing the piano and this piece is Chopin Nocturne in F# Minor Op.15 No2.
I think we've known for a very long time a score of 58 at an official competition is possible, based on how many times you'd done it unofficially. So I'm so happy to see you finally doing it! But I think we also know you are not going to stop there. If you can get 61/64 in 57:10, then 58 points in one hour can't be your limit. EDIT: Just saw your claim of "over 70 points in 2020". Man, I really hope you can pull that off...
Ridiculous performance, 41 to 48 points took 5 years and then you bump it up 10 points in a year. Can't wait for 70! That last cube was so jittery though! Do you have a non-edited version?
