Nice to see your progress over the years . I picked up a 59’ fleet side with a big window ,and have been working on it for a year now . Been keeping my eyes on some wheels like yours I like the stance of your truck waiting to get my motor in ,and some weight back in it to set the ride height .
Nice set up on truck Jus got 58 apache short bed. Still has 6 cyl I'm second owner ..my dad had one when I was 13yrs -16 yrs help him build his . Drove to high school few time in 10 the grade. Love the body style wrap around rear window cool ass hood Cant wait to start building mine with both my sons 22 yrs old / 21 yrs .
Nice truck.. Dont clear it just leave it like that. Also i used some park lights from a truck and trailer supply. Looked almost like original except no bezel. Trim out hole for rubber retainer to fit in and light goes right in. Motor sounds great bud
Nice Apache, I drive a 59 fleet side all original to date including the marker lights but hoping to do some comfort updates in the near future. You are giving me some ideas. Thanks bro
It's coming along great a truck will never go out of style I like the look of your truck a little at a time you know you can get caught up on making a ground up build. I built a ground up build a 1972 GMC Suburban 3 door a whole lotta money time went into that build when I got so deep into the build I started to regret building it because I would never get back what I put into it was out of love of the truck/Suburban build I past it on to my nephew that he still owns to this day.
@@Hooliganspeedco I thumbs up every older I see no matter what condition it's in I guess because I've like older car's my whole life even the car's and trucks back in the early late 70's early 80's I didn't like so much I like them now because they are much older than they were then. I wish I could send a picture of my brother in law Chevy truck he has a 58 59 short box bed with the big back window baby blue with white seats V8 he bought it already restored off some man that it was just sitting in his where house he said the guy put 30 grand in it. He paid way under that price because he knew the guy and they will probably do business in the future my brother in law owns his own trucking company IMPACT TRANSPORTATION they transport everything even those cars that come over seas to that car show in Pebble beach California. My first car I didn't even have a driver's license and I built from ground up a 1968 Toyota Corona I put a cut down 51 Buick grill with older BMW bumper guards to make it look like 50's.
Wow sounds great 👍 You doing awesome job on that truck buddy!! I have to get on my sones I find somebody wants to trade motor swap for bodywork and paint. I have a 59 also.
