Here I install the upper top side fridge vent on the roof of the 1959 Shasta Airflyte Vintage Travel Trailer. This is the preferred way to vent a refrigerator in an RV. The refrigerator is a Dometic. It runs on propane or 110vac. You can find the vent cover and stack at Etrailer.com or Amazon..com.

Larry, a suggestion if I may. Noticed the roof vent had wire mesh over it. Smart. Install window screen on the inside of the intake vent as well. It can be as easy as laying the screen in place, & applying a sealant through it to the door. As sure as the sun rises, dirt wasps will get in there and make a mess.

Actually I have lost some weight recently as I just got over Covid. This video was made near the end of last winter. Now I gotta get that back. Good hearing from ya Robert.

Nice. Are the roof screws stainless steel?

No. I don't use them. Plain old zinc coated panhead screws. 3/4 inch number 8s.

@@-OPPORTUNITYBARN- One of the reasons I don't use stainless is because nothing will stick to it. Like paint. Plus stainless is expensive. No need for that.
