Cabview Holland neemt jullie vandaag weer mee naar Stadskanaal! We zijn te gast bij de Museumspoorlijn STAR en rijden van Veendam naar Stadskanaal. De trein wordt getrokken door de BR 52 8060 uit 1943. Bij 25:59 wordt onze trein weer gefilmd door Scott's Railroad Video's. De Stichting Stadskanaal Rail (STAR, beter bekend als Museumspoorlijn STAR) is in juni 1992 opgericht met als doel het behoud van de spoorlijn Veendam - Stadskanaal - Musselkanaal. Deze spoorlijn stond destijds op de nominatie om gesloopt te worden. Sinds de oprichting van de STAR is er door de vrijwilligers hard gewerkt aan de totstandkoming van de museumspoorlijn.
