Link to the Taillights ➡️ www.phastekperformance.com/He... Install video of my HERO Taillights from PHASTEK PERFORMANCE. Overall, I love the way they look. They look much better in person than on camera
They look amazing! First thing I'd mod if I had a 2014-2015 refresh. I'd get the 6gen style headlight mod also. Fits with the pinched upper grille more. I always thought the halos with the tops and bottoms cut off didn't work with that pinched upper grille.
Only thing to watch out for is the .5 second delay from brake pedal to light illumination. The third brake light will go on half a second before the tail lights. While annoying, it's actually probably safer by bringing more attention to your tail lights. Also goes for your turn signals. Your front turn signals will cycle once before the back ones turn on. Also... Phastek is out of stock, but you can get the exact same ones from morimoto. Can find them on Amazon and eBay.
Just used your link to buy a smoked set! Dealship is trying to charge me $1200 for a set of OEM tail lights. Now $399 for a pair of these bad boys is just a no brainer. thanks!
I heard there is a half second delay with these lights between when your third tail light activates first and the tail lights soon after, notice any delay?
snoopdwag there is a small delay, the 3rd brake light will light up before the Taillights do, it doesn’t bother me at all though it still works fine in my opinion. I had uploaded a preview of the delay, though i did it on my other account by mistake lol but here is a link to it if you would like to see the delay ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-llZum8VpXBM.html
Did those taillights come with a 4pin or 6pin? I ordered a set and they came with 4 pin and my camaro rs is a 6pin, so currently looking for an adapter or something to solve my problem
These are adaptable to both RS and Non-RS. The instruction Manuel to these taillights show it has an adaptor with them. drive.google.com/file/d/1_cxOTr6Ch0r1DBZznUZyhd1vytBLjSs7/view?usp=sharing
Spe if you would like to see how much delay there is here’s a video I took of it (i accidentally uploaded it on my other channel, sorry) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-llZum8VpXBM.html
Spoder man well, these taillights I’m showing are built aftermarket to fit into a 5th gen (2014-2015) camaro. But it’s styled from the 6th gen Camaro’s stock Taillights. So even though it’s a 5th gen tail light, people call it 6th gen because of what it’s based off of
Great video, according to the Halo web-site it states: The sequential lights will mount into the factory location and use the factory hardware to mount to the body. Rear bumper does need to be removed for installation. What do you think ?
Do u have a link were can I buy those tail lights and u didn’t have to take out the rear number u could have just wiggled the tail lights out of there tbh
gixxer ryda 55 www.phastekperformance.com/Hero-Smoked-Tail-Lights-2014-2015-Camaro-p/hero-5stl.htm and it wasn’t hard to get the bumper off, but everyone has their own preferences.
Demonhunter14 there’s a plug that when it’s plugged or unplugged determines if they are sequential or not, I cannot remember which one it is but I think you can find it on the instructions that are on PhastekPerformance.com
WhiteTigerSS thanks. I got them working as sequentials now, but I think I popped a fuse or something because the bottom lights no longer function. I'll have to check it out, lol.
So the only tools i’ll need for this install is a socket wrench for the bolts on the fender liner and then a knife/flathead screwdriver for the taillight clips? Installing mine tomorrow
Giovanni Carrera yes it’s default plug fits RS model and it has an adaptor to fit Non-RS models. You can see it in the installation instructions, here’s the link to it hope this helps 👍 drive.google.com/file/d/1_cxOTr6Ch0r1DBZznUZyhd1vytBLjSs7/view
Dory I can’t find a direct email address, but this link is a forum to contact them by email 👍 www.phastekperformance.com/phastek_contact_info_a/255.htm
Nick morales don’t see why they wouldn’t fit, body is the same on all models (except for some additional things of course but the base body is the same) and the plugs shouldn’t change either, it would specify on phastek’s website if they didn’t fit 👍
@@WhiteTigerSS_Camaro last question. You can remove the bumper without unconnect those first connectors right? I mean remove enough to be able to swap the lights?
Judon Da Truth I haven’t done my research personally, but I’ve just heard that there are bumpers that can convert 2010-2013 Camaro’s to allow them to use 2014-2015 Taillights
