Hell yeah bro build coming along nice, I got a 2011 ss with the l99. I'm can't wait to start building the engine soon. Do you want to boost it soon or stay na? I want to boost mine but idk if it's worth it with the l99 but instead get a built lsx motor
Thank you. And I plan on staying na with this Camaro. Maybe bigger cam/heads/Intake and converter. Would be cool to be 500+whp. No rush tho. Plan on enjoying this for for some years to come. What mods do you have so far?
@@2sstexasgiant528 I bought the car with 40k miles it was straight piped and I think maybe a flash tune or something it feels decently fast for pretty much stock
I have a 2011 Camaro SS it has the stock 3.27 gears and a Circle D 4200rpm stall converter running E85 it has gone 7.22 at 96mph in the eighth mile with 1 65 60 foot tines car has a load of upgrades a new GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate with CNC and milled LS3 heads to name the biggest upgrade it has 11.1 compression ratio vs the L99s 10.3 the 495 crate has a extremely mild camshaft but makes 400 foot pounds of torque or more from 2700-6200rpm with the increase in compression on E85 it made 495 foot pounds of torque at peak at 5000rpm and 480 or more from 4700-5200rpm at the crankshaft my car redlines and shifts at 6600rpm and does 123mph at 6600rpm in 3rd gear if your changing to 3.91s would be at 110mph possibly even less in 3rd gear at 6600rpm making you use 4th gear if going faster than 110mph in the quarter mile
@2sstexasgiant528 if you did a dod delete and went to 3 bolt cam spocket its no longer a l99 its a ls3 just your fyi thats only difference between the two motors
2010 camaro l99 built should be done between the time of this comment to the end of may I would love run you when I get the car back Doing stage 3 cam Circle d converter Kooks LT ROTOFAB AND THATS ABOUT IT FOR NOW PLAN ON DOING FLEX FUEL AND FAST INTAKE AND BIGGER THROTTLE BODY AND PREPARE FOR BOOST DOWN THE LINE
Oh yeah it's automatic L99..to me the car is too electronic, when upgrading all the sensors must work together, after 4 yrs I still have issues..but mostly finally got everything together...
@@seanreaves33 I haven’t had any issues with anything electrical yet. With any three of my Camaros I’ve had. Hope you can get that worked out. These cars are great in my opinion.
@@2sstexasgiant528 to be honest mind was too when it was N/A But I got e85 auxiliary fuel pump 102 nick williams throttle body, whipple 2.9 and ice box in trunk, extra sensors
