5th grade there was a black market for crayons. If you had a 8 pack, you were a peasant. 16 pack, maybe some people would come to you, if they were desprate. 32 pack, you had some customers but nothing special. 48 pack, you were average. 64 pack, half the class came to you. 128 pack, top of the line. There were rare crayons, and everyone wanted to get some. (Dandelion, Periwinkle, Purple Mountains Majesty, etc.) My best friend and I merged our stores, so we had full 16 packs of Dandelion and Purple Mountains Majesty. We also had a full 128 pack of other kinda rare colors, (Blue Green, Teal, Apricot, etc) and a 128 of Basic colors. For a week we were the only store in the class. We were top notch. If you wanted a Dandelion you better give us at least 3 Teal. Until we were so successful that our crayon supply was overflowing. We needed to keep our Basic Colors just laying on the desk. Due to our success, we needed to jolt up the price of our ultra rare crayons, and that caused demand to go down. Once we lowered the price, we would be overflowing again. Our main competitor saw this, and one day he came to us and gave us all of this crayons for our whole stock or Dandelion. We couldnt fight it, we thought it was a good deal at the time. Our competitor stole the show. We were out of our ultra rare crayons since he bought them all, and we couldn’t buy them off of him because his prices were high as well, but since his shop was now only ultra rare colors, he had good reason too. We were out of business. After a while, the Crayon Craze died of, but he had been the most successful. And that my friends, is why you never raise your prices too much.

Right now in 5th grade every class has a dollar tree football , this like throwing thing , a weak ass basketball, and a bouncy ball. First week this kid threw the football to high and sailed over the fence in the river and we watched it drift away. One time this kid tryed to hit a half court shot and it bounced and got stuck in the outside basketball court and we never saw it again. One other time the same kid that threw the football over hit a soccer ball over. And finally this one kid got mad at four square and kicked the ball up and got stuck on the roof of the gym or basketball court.

We were not allowed to go outside after 6th grade and still no change and I’m going into 9th grade now; there’s so much pent up energy
