I always wanted to check out a 3A but the price point has kept me away. This might be my way in to try these. It is how I got into collecting MP style transformers, a couple of KOs to start. Thanks fir the video Ben.
Believe it or not you could literally mix a little black shoe polish with water and apply it to the areas that are too pristine, wiping the excess as you go and it will be almost spot on to the legit version. Or if you're an experienced customizer, just bust out the weathering kit and knock it out in just a bit more time than the polish trick. The main paint apps are all already there so even a first timer will get excellent results. I look forward to this and the ko 3a prime. Also look forward to getting my ko mp-44 because I can easily replicate the appearance of being painted with a light blast of testers since the molded plastic is almost the same exact color as the paint and I'll never have to worry about chipping from handling a figure as expensive as the legit version, though I would expect a painted, improved ko to pop up after a bunch of the initial fakes are sold just like mp-36.
@@mahardikapratama4782 The shoe polish recommendation is for people with little to no experience so the can achieve professional looking results. Hell it can be done with a 50 cent bottle of apple barrel satin black a little water and some toilet paper.
If a KO of this can turn out so well, I wonder how good the KO of Flame Toys Tarn will be. They (different company than this?) were forced into hiding once before due to legal threat from Flame Toys, so there is still doubt that will ever turn up to see the light of day.
I was just thinking what a ko of of a flame toys would be like, but from what I've experienced with mine I think it be hard to replicate the process, because they use certain techniques but I'd definitely buy one to check it out and compare although I'm loving the figures I have from them at the moment.
@@artemisjones2121 Long, long ago. Cloud9 Quakeblast was supposedly a KO or headhunted one of the designers from FT. FT threatened to stop supplying to any retailer who would carry Quakeblast and for some reason it worked.
Woawh i was saving up to buy a ko mp44, but i think ill go for this one instead, Thanx for the review ben you always have that high quality reviews, more power,
Anyone know where to download instruction manual for this or the 3A/threezero? Been missing mine. Needing a copy so I can be careful with this bad boy, knowing where the pegs are, etc. and not break them
Anyone knows where to download instruction manual for 3A or 5U bumblebee? Been missing my copy. Need it so I can take care of this figure properly. Knowing all the joints, pegs, etc. are and not break them. Thanks😊
I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you ever did a video for the Generation Toy OP-EX reprolabels set? Or even if you have pictures if them on the figure that would be helpful. Thank you!
@@BensKOllectables I bought a set and thought it looked good. I had a question about where a few of the numbered stickers went but after I sent the message on here on Facebook I was told that they accidentally numbered 2 of the stickers twice and didn't point out the one's I was wondering about on the pictures. I think I have them in the right spot. Thank you for the reply man! 🙂
No straight edged armblade. That's my only real disappointment. Also I wonder if id/Bethesda got the idea for the armblade for the Slayer in Doom Eternal from Bumblebee?
Pretty cool. Can’t get behind non TFing transformer but not bad. been meaning to ask, how’s your back? Wasn’t it really messed up awhile there? Glad it’s improved if it did.
Ionacus toy reviews in and out of my wheel chair BUT I walk now with the aid of a stick , missing two disks and will never regain feeling in my left leg ( it’s completely paralysed) but I’m ok with that :)
They’re saving the good stuff for the Premium scale. Dlx is their fancy way of saying “ya fucking pleb, cough up more cash and get the more expensive one”
Dont hate me but this is just not right imo imagin getting a threea figure and you paid over 300 for it and turns out its a ko and tou didnt know becuase same boxart and size but quality not quote the same. I dont hate your quality ben i think there quite good but i just dont like knock offs of high end dear figures.
Myskirion Prime I’m Only here to help bud , hoping that this video can help people tell the difference Because People WILL try and pass this off as official , I have no doubt
@@BensKOllectables im just glad i got the originel threea soundwave ravage blitzwing bumblebee and prime before the kos come btw i have a question will you be reviewing the nemesis prime version of the bumblebe threea optimus he looks cool but the price is over £400
Do not take this the wrong way, but this is one of the most ridiculous and lowest things that they can do. Knock offs are a threat to genuine articles because not only they can devalue the worth of the original item, but many people will try to sell these as if they were the real deal. Look what happened to Bandai's SH Figuarts and SH Monsterarts line. If people keep buying this, this will only encourage more of them to make KO versions of the other characters. I can understand if the buyer is aware of the differences and buys it for the cheaper price, but since many customers are people who are not aware of KOs, then it might become a problem.
