Great intellectual and artistic minds have come from here. You come off as very authentic and you aren’t trying to be someone you’re not. I hate when my city is referred to the “raq”. I hate when people prove they’re not scared by coming out. I hate all the negativity associated with it. It’s sad that the news and internet portray MY city the way it does. It’s bad every where. Chicago is a beautiful, SAFE city to live in. And if you disagree, you’ve never lived here. You just get your news from the media and internet
