Getting “good” at something is easy. Just keep working at it and climbing your way up.the hard part is doing something without a goal. After you have a goal, create a plan how to get there. A dream with determination will help you climb higher. I never quit, I never stopped. Win, lose didn’t matter just keep doing my thing and keep improving. A little faster, a little stronger. Better than the me of yesterday. Everything else comes as a result of that.

Buddy. Vlog tip. Look at the camera lense. Not the screen. It makes it feel like you’re talking to us as the audience. Not constantly talking past us and staring at yourself in the screen. Get a little cover will help. Or using the rear camera.

Thank you so much !!! Well being for me is my family first. If they’re healthy I’m happy. And karate is just about my training. As I enjoying my work daily. Am I learning and doing everything possible to improve and family how am i contributing to my students life

There are 10 criteria that judges us on. And later they give us a score depending on our performance and deductions. Later the highest and lowest scores are taken out. And there we have our total score

What do you think about the kata judgment? do you think that your ohan dai was 3.8 points better than your anan?

I don’t think the score can represent a direct comparison between my ANAN and OHAN DAI because different referees are watching the kata. And also, if I’m not mistaken referees are give slightly higher starting scores as the rounds progress. I like the points so I could see how far or close did the referee see me to my opponent

Why doesn’t karate just remove kata and focus more on sparring, conditioning and grappling?

Because that would be a different martial arts all together 😂

@@arielkarate1 should it not evolve like kyokushin to enshin to Ashihara etc? Martial means war like. I’m sure you can fight but that’s despite the kata, not because of it. There is nothing practical about that and 99.99999% of people who master kata will get their heads kicked or punched in by someone that pressure tests through sparring.

First it’s very important to understand why someone will choose to do karate right? Who are we to tell people what to do or what not to do. People choose a path depending what they want in life. There’s no need to compare this to that because at the end of the day people choose what they choose for their own reason and it’s none of our business. Just let them do them. If they decide to go out in the world looking for fights that means they didn’t really study karate 😅😅😅 have a good day man. And hope you stay watching the vlogs
