Hook words to Emma were harsh but true. Emma has a habit of fighting her battles alone especially the difficult ones. She chose not to ask for help when they returned from Camelot. She decided to save Hook all by herself instead of turning to her family. If Hook hadn't said these words then she would have never asked for help. She needed to hear those words no matter how hurtful they were. I felt bad for Emma because you could see how much his words hurt. She was fighting for their future but she went about it all wrong. Hook is lashing out at Emma because he's hurting too. The one person he trusted and gave up his blood lust for is the same person that didn't believe in him. Hook has always believed in Emma but the moment he needed her to believe in him she couldn't which is what allowed the darkness to take hold.
I know everytime I hear it in like a Captain Swan video or something I'm like you're an orphan shut up and then I have to go its just a show calm down
Hook's words were harsh but true. Emma loves her family but she still acts like an orphan. She still chooses to fight the hard battles alone instead of relying on her loved ones. If Hook hadn't utter those words then Emma wouldn't have went to her family for help. She would have fought this battle alone just like she did the moment she turned him into the Dark One. Emma chose to save Hook alone instead of asking for help. His words were harsh but accurate. I felt bad for Emma. You could see the pain written all over her face. This was a hard scene to watch but very necessary in order to move Emma forward.
I love how even though he is a dark one and hates Emma for what she did to him, he still protects her from Merida. And the way he easily catches the arrow and then is like "Yeah, I don't like you, swipe left". 😅😅 I also love how in his scene Emma calls him Hook but then corrects herself and calls him Killian as she probs wants him to know that, that is how much she cares about him to not put his old blood-thirsty pirate label on him. To me is cute as Emma only calls him Killian when she is showing love and affection to him. Like in episode 3x22 when she thanks him for coming back for her in New York and kisses him (I know that this kiss is not their first as 3x05 is) but I feel like this kiss means more than Emma just grieving Neal's supposed death and finding something to distract her. Overall ❤CS
Frankey Lisanti I watched this episode 2 nights ago, and it seems like everything I think of somehow leads back to this episode. I was at school and my friend was talking about a French Captain's uniform, so my mind went strait to... "Captain Dark One!!!"
