6.0 first start 

if I recall I didn't have the charge piping hooked up, so the blower was just dumping into the engine bay. was just running it to test belt alignment.

why is the Supercharger so loud I know there are loads superchargers but that seems too much

Sounds like you have a pissed off cat under the hood... seriously is there a cat there? they tend to seek warmth in engines...
