Pro tip from another 6.0 owner, glow plugs stay on for 2 minutes even if the light goes off.

+1 on cycling glow plugs twice....add some archoil 9100 to the oil, likely smoother crank.

My 2006 GMC diesel started in Wisconsin cold without ever plugging it in.

My 6.7 powerstroke has never been plugged in it started fine at 13 below zero in northern Michigan

Rev engine up to 2,000 rpm for 15-30 seconds immediately after cold starting it.

Definitely don’t do that. The oil is still thick as hell and not flowing/ protecting well. Let it sit for about a minute and drive away gently. This is what any manufacturer would tell you.
