First of all, I'd like to say I've been listening to several of these arrangements for a long time now, among others, and they've been some of my favorite additions to my work playlists. Thank you for providing high-quality arrangements of these great themes, and indeed some of New Horizons' best! I hope you'll consider coming back to do more from past Animal Crossing games! Maybe 3PM from Wild World? Hmmmm? 👀 I'm doing a 365 Days of Music challenge, and I chose this for Day 235! Here's the piece I wrote on it: **Day 235:** "6:00 AM (Animal Crossing: New Horizons) Jazz Cover" 6AM is a fun hourly theme to compose for, apparently. It's also one of those hourly themes that is always good, no matter the game. It's like 5PM or 7PM or 2AM. Always so good, and so different in each game. In New Horizons, it's a slow-paced, tranquil tune -- in fact, it's one of the very first hourly themes ACNH fans got to hear, as it was the first one played in the Animal Crossing Direct before the game's release. It's extra special to me for that reason. Oh, how I hyped I was for New Horizons. And 1500 hours later, I can say it was hype well spent. I'm getting off-topic. 6AM is a simple hourly theme that doesn't have a whole lot to it outside of chord changes, but the Consouls do everything they can to spice it up while maintaining that tranquil edge. The little guitar arpeggios and the cooperation with the electric piano make the piece a lot more complex and even more refined. It's all played with such a gentle touch, like the soft dawn of a new day. But you can hear in the drums the excitement that comes with approaching sunlight as well... In my opinion, this is a solid example of where New Horizons' soundtrack shines its brightest.
