Huge Baylor fan here, and he's a bum, he lacked the work ethic to succeed and that's why dude got picked in the second round and is riding the bench in Denver.
dont hate on him he is alottt better then some people realize and he deserves to be confident not cocky and he has to play college before he gets nba status so he will increase his game even more
and for those of you wondering why hes going to Baylor it's so that he can team up with Perry Jones, get used to hearing that name, dude is going to have a monster season next year
he is actually 6'9, 200 lbs, he is quicker than Durant but his stroke is no where near as pure as KD's, but maybe he will develop that come NBA time, regardless he will be a difficult cover in the NBA.
Honestly off talent I would choose Quincy over anthony davis, austin rivers, perry jones, or any other player going into next years draft. He just has everything at the small forward position. Like a kevin durant in the making. To me has potential of being an elite scorer, good rebounder and passer and all around great player. Talents there, matters if he takes fll advantage of that, cause if he does the team that picks him will be very happy for many years lol no doubt. Baylor is lucky lol
Clippers? When DeAndre Jordan starts to score on a consistent basis and you sign Chris Paul to 2 year deal, then I'll take that statement seriously. Right now we have to sign Lawson, so I'm a bit worried, I didn't know he wasn't already signed for longer. But I think we'll keep him.
Quincy needs to get big, he needs to workout hardcore and become a very strong inside presence, because if he has post moves he can combine that with his shot and use his abilities the way Zac Randolph does. I give him 2 years to improve or he'll get traded or sent to D-league cuz in summer league he didn't do much. I thought he was gonna be a lot better, but as well he tore his ACL so that really sucks for him. But now he need to work real hard cuz nuggets are DEEP!!!
@Dalit5 youre the first guy ive seen give credit to guys who are tall and how hard it is to be coordinated im 6 5 and it can be hard to learn to control your body especially when youre still growing and cant really get a handle on the size of your own body
there was a 6'10 guy here in philly who quincy reminds me of. dude's name was ish. ish might've actually been more explosive and a better ball handler. he had nba wriiten all over him. he was a 6'10 pg for lutheran prep. only problem is ish didnt have quincy's will or take over mentality.
At the moment yes. You're right and when I watch this video again and again, I realize he needs way more strength training. He's a bit weak. But he has potential, for a guy that's 6'10 he can dribble. He just needs to work on his explosiveness and strength. I think he could pretty good if he works on that.
@imbtyler Agreed. Baylor looks like it's gonna be good. Yeah, I guess that's true. His game looks pretty similar to durants, but this is just highschool. He does have a lot of potential though.
Yeah too many actually... Chandler, Galo, Q.Miller, Hamilton and Iggy... but Iggy, Fournier and Hamilton will play SG this year since we dished out Afflalo, Q. Miller will play in D-league and occasionally play some regular season, Chandler and Galo will play the SF... if everything stays as it is and nobody gets better...I just hope Carl doesn't put A.Miller in with Lawson reducing Hamilton, Fournier or Iggy's time on the floor.
@teepayn he can dribble and from what I saw at 3:19 pass but when the pros come it won't be so easy so will he increase his work ethic or fall to a career of benchwarmer for a team at best trying to squeeze out 5 years
@Marlonthekid not necessarily look at kevin durant hes just as tall as he is and just as thin and in college you know they get those dudes buff before the season starts anyway
Please don't compare this kid to KD. That's not fair, and he's not Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant is one of the top 5 players in the world. Do you really think Quincy Miller will be a back to back scoring champ in the NBA? The kid can hoop and I couldn't be more excited to have him at BU but let's not get wrapped up in the hype.
@934real it really is when your 6'10 in HS playing guys either a lot smaller than you are rarely athletic its easy wait till he gets to college and especially the pros where every team has a big man not only not clumsy like HS but all around skilled and powerful he better get that weight up
lol at yall haters complaining bout him being cocky it is this kind of mentality tat scares people his barking at your face sayin its easy and you know u cant do anything to stop him
He's coming to the Denver Nuggets Bitchesssss!!!! OHHHHHH We got Fournier and Miller to go along with Chandler, Lawson, Hamilton, Faried, Galo, Mcgee!!!! Fuckin dream team up in here!!! We might not win nothing this year, but next year all the miami fans, all the OKC fans, ya'll better be ready for us Nuggets... we comin!!!!
Well hes an over-sized SF, it's easy for him to score on ppl 6'4 in high school, but i don't see him posting up on ppl like Dwight Howard and stuff lol. But that's just me...
@MoneyMcGann im not on about how marketable he is lol... he will find it hard playing for baylor, especially since he has just had a season ending injury.. im not saying he aint gona go far, but its not as easy as he thinks it will be.
