She grows an one cm. She's now 6'11½ (212 cm). Almost 7ft . At that time that video made she's still 16. Probably when she turned 17 she still growing. She's Big and Has long legs but somehow weaker. Needs more practice
Okay, I get that this was over a year ago. But some off you guys have to grow up. Yes she's tall, yes she has a hard time jumping, she doesn't jump like a fence post. Ive played with her before, she's nice and funny, she tries to fit in all the time, but she has a hard time. You wanna know why? Its because of the nasty people talking about her, and saying she jumps like a fence post, really a fence post? Grow up.
Frfr like I hate when people just judge them because they don't rly know them and they just think like oh they don't fit in so I don't like her like frfr they need to grow up like Idek her but I know that she is a beautiful inspiring young girl and she's just living her dreams. Like frfr people need to grow up and stop judging people before they actually get to know them.
People don't like to give someone a chance. With a few changes she can really use her height in volleyball to her advantage. She seems like someone who will make the effort. She also seems very nice and I bet her friends feel lucky to know her.

If she actually moved and jumped she would be AMAZING. College players who are 5'9" can do what she's doing because they run, have an approach, and JUMP! So if she put it a little effort she'd be a legend.
I agree. She's relying a bit too much on her height. The best volleyball players I've seen tend to be the all-round players - taller ones who can serve, pass and hit well. If she could work on her jumps, hits and passes, she would be a phenomenal player.
I wish i was tall, but not that tall, im short for a outside im 5"7. And going into college soon and trying to play professional, my height is not going to work. I have to work 10x harder and i have to out jump the other girls. She is blessed by God to have that height and playing volleyball
What is with all these goddamn hate comments. Can people just stop for one second, you see a girl -confident with what she’s been given-and all these comments are just negative. Have some decency she’s a human being that deserves love and respect
For everyone who’s saying “she’s bad at this” “her jumps are horrible” Grow up! Like seriously, she may not be as good as some players but at least she tries. Her limbs are WAY longer than normal, which causes her to have less control. That doesn’t mean that you guys can keep trying to call her out on being a horrible player when she can play better then people I know. It’s disrespectful so cut it out.
I'm glad for all the positivity here. It's totally possible that someone- ESPECIALLY a female- could hate all the stares and want to be shorter, and that'd be understandable since even males don't necessarily want to be 7 feet tall, but here this is, all (f0r the most part) positive with it, and life, and it's great they feel so much acceptance and stuff.
I'm way too short but i'm volleyball player as well! And i'm a blocker (sometimes) and people said that i jump so high even though i'm only 5'3 or 5'4 This isn't normal at all xD
She’ll be such a good hitter if they teach the setter to set super high so she can do a proper approach and really nail the ball. She’s got rlly good middle blocker potential. Also people stop saying she jumps like a fence post bc that’s just rude. Mocking her like that is mean. Constructive criticism is good and it’s not constructive criticism if your not trying to be polite.

damn I whould like to play against her my jump height Is at 10 feet (not sure how much feet is 3'34m jump) too bad I am in a male team over 18 and she is stil in an under 18 female team
I am a volleyball player too and I would definitely recommend using your arms to get up more and jump higher! Watch some D1 girls volleyball and copy what they do!! :)) good luck girl!!
She Needs To Build Her Physical Strength, Especially In Her Legs to Improve Her Mobility. If She Works Real Hard and Commits, She Can Dominate Especially as RS.
Yikes. I wish her well, but pretty clearly she has some problems. Definitely agree that leg strengthening is key for her, or she may end up in a chair at a relatively young age--seems to happen pretty frequently with extremely tall women (and men, but more often with women).
ik she can probably not move very well but i’m 6’ and hit 10 times better than her she needs to work a lot more on hitting the ball with more power she could be veryyyy good
genetic counseling? Is that common cause you said that like its common, you know just in case you were not wanting life to happen naturally and needed that confirmation.
