Okay tbh I think Alex really did shoot himself because in most episodes he seemed like he didn't care about life anymore, like when he jumped in the pool trying to drown, or not caring bout a suspension what so ever. I mean sure Tyler took his picture down but I think he did that because Alex was looking out for Tyler and told Montgomery to back off. If I find out that Alex is dead in the second season, I don't think I could never love 13 Reasons Why after that. He's my favorite character and without him, the show just wouldn't be the same. He was respectful to adults, stuck up for his friends, stuck up for his enemies even, he took responsibility for his actions, and he was, I think, the main reason why everyone decided it was for the best to come clean and also have them accept what they did to Hanna.

GUYS ACTUALLY PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!!! I have a new theory. It's really crazy and I don't think the producers thought about it, as it is more of a coincidence. Let's say Tyler was going to not only kill everyone on the tapes but just do it at school since he would kill himself anyway. There has been a theory saying that Tyler's deposition was a foreshadow of him making future tapes explaining why he killed who he killed and essentially why he did what he did. Of course he'd want to kill Monty since Monty had been the one to give him the hardest time I think, and I don't think he'd end up killing the councillor or he might. Here's the coincident. In 1999 the biggest school massacre at the time took place at Columbine High School in Littleton CO. Two teenagers by the names Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold walked w/ the intention to blow up their school, however the bombs they had planted had failed to detonate. They ended up killing 13 people that day. 12 students and 1 teacher, before ending their lives making it 15 in total. THIRTEEN PEOPLE DIED THAT DAY. Eric and Dylan experienced strangely similar acts of bullying that Tyler had experienced. Thats not all though. These two boys filmed a series of TAPES known as the Basement Tapes explaining WHY they were going to essentially blow up their school and how they were going to do it. Idk it seems VERY sketchy to me. Especially cause this could go two ways. Alex dies, and he kills everyone on the tapes but then goes after monty making it 13 people he kills and goes after the councillor and that would be the 1 teacher that dies. or, he doesnt go after Mr. Porter, and alex lives, and he kills everyone including monty. I do believe that Alex did tried to commit suicide because he shows sign of depression throughout the whole season you see in the last episode Zach sends many text messages to Alex but he only received one text asking him to call which I also think it was Alex's dad rather than alex the reason why the principal knows alex committed suicide is because Zach reported it I also believe that Justin also tried to commit suicide after he talked to Jessica saying he almost killed himself yet he stop because he thinks of Jessica and yet Jessica said I don't want to see you anymore after Justin asked her what she wants and he will do it even killing Bryce Another is after Justin had a conversation with Bryce ask him "so see you around?" something like that and then Justin replied "maybe not" lastly I also agree that tyler is planing to kill those persons on his list because its his way to have revenge on them for always ignoring him and making him feel he doesn't deserve their time But he removed the picture of Alex after remembering positive memories he have with alex which is when Alex stopped Montgomery from having a fight with Tyler also I think that Tyler's camera and pictures will play a big role in season two because in the first season hanna's tapes play a big part in it

I think Tyler didn't kill Alex, if you watch "13 reasons why beyond the reasons" they say that Alex committed suicide. Also he had all of the signs of wanting to commit suicide but we were all to busy worrying about Hannah that we forgot that someone that is still living and can still get help is out there wanting to end their life. He had no real friends, he didn't have those supportive parents, and he also listened to suicidal songs but everyone was too busy worrying about a girl that was gone, than to get help for someone who still has a chance to make their life better.

I got a theory. Well, Tyler took the photo of Alex down because he was planning a school shooting and he remembered that Alex was nice to him. Just before taking the picture of Alex down he added another picture which was of Clay and this is because Clay took the picture of him with his pants down. Also they said that Alex was in critical condition but this doesn't mean that he's dead.

Since justin lived in Alex's house at the end/towards the end of the series, what if they both killed themselves at the same time ; That would explain the scene with the guy with brown hair in the ambulance and the scene in the begining of the show where someone else was in a ambulance.

My theory: Yes, Justin will commit suicide, but the person in the ambulance really WAS Alex. Clues: 1. When Justin was talking to Bryce walker towards the end if the last episode, they were drinking together🍷. And when they were done Bryce was like, "so I'll see you around?",and Justin was like "No." So I think Justin will commit suicide in season two, because wasn't it announced that the next season will be about there lives after? I think justin will begin to have suicidal thoughts in season two, and a couple episodes later he will commit suicide. Wait a second. I might be wrong or I discovered sth. So I thought Tyler took the photo of Alex down bc of the memory and that he was good to him, but Tylers face is just blank while he takes it down. i kinda feel like season 2 will revolve around Tyler killing everyone on the tapes as well as Tony and Himself. i think that they are gonna talk about why Tyler decided to kill the people on the tape and on the last episode it would be about why Tyler killed himself. Okay okay so I know this definitely isn't true but... season 2 will be Alex's tapes and then every season someone will kill themselves and Clay will just be standing there at the end of the series like shit, I'm the only alive person

Am I the only one (I know I'm not) who thinks that Hannah is also not treating other people likes she wants to be treated herself. Clay doesn't seem to be moved by this, but he is actually bullied by Hannah. Not in the same matter as her ofcourse, but still she should know better and confide in him more than she does.

I think that in season 2 we can get all our questions answered, but just like in the 10th year anniversary of the book Hannah survives, I think clay will wake up out of a nightmare (which he used to suffer from in the show in the past) and some of the early events like the slide picture and maybe even Courtney's picture would've already happened. But clay will wake up (at the end of season 2) and confront Hannah the next day and see how's she's doing and probably tell her how he feels. Which will avoid anything that happened like Hannah killing her self , Jeff dying , the rapes and etc . I stand by this because after watching season 1 and possibly season 2 the lesson of bullying and what it causes and can lead to , to teach the viewers and teaches us how to peep the signs that are given. Giving the show a strong positive lesson/ending while showing it's okay to ask questions and never hold back when you think there's something wrong . Tell me what you think.

I think that the pictures Tyler has is not who wants to kill. I think he took down Alex's picture because he killed himself and was already at the hospital when it was announced. People like tony who was never mean to Alex and nice to Hannah which Alex would like bc he had a crush on her. And he cheerleader is in a picture and she was never mean either. So Alex isn't in the ambulance. I think it's Justin in the ambulance. I honestly don't know what Alex is doing with the gun but it's for shooting more than 1 bullet at a time or more than one thing so a school shooting sounds possible.

I have some things to say and ask... Some reasons for the making Season 2 I personally think: 1-The way Season 1 ended.. remember Clay talking to Skye, and in one of the previous episodes Clay looked up to her cut marks on the wrist, something might have happened to her that's why she would have done that, maybe they would expand it? 2-At the ending of the Season 1 again.. we saw Tyler hiding some ammo and guns beneath his "camera stuff" in that box, maybe a shootout at the school? or maybe somewhere else? or planning to go on a freakin' RAMPAGE? 3-They said that Alex shot himself or its a murder, something like that happened, again this would be expanded. 4-BRYCE SHOULD GO TO JAIL! One thing I was thinking was even if goes to jail, he's damn rich he can get outta there like nothing, dude his father can get him out, IDK maybe he doesn't confesses to the police that he didn't raped Hannah and Jessica like obviously who would ik but then again Clay has the recording. I think it actually was Alex in the ambulance because even though in the show Alex's hair is bleach blonde in real-life the actors hair is brown and since it was the end of the season they didn't want to re dye his hair for that short clip. The day they shot the suicide scene it was a closed set so the broke the filming up into "sections" if u know what I mean. I know I'm not explaining it very well but that's just my theory

I have a theory for season 2! So we all know that season 1 was about hannah baker when she committed suicide and then we find out on the season 1 finale that Alex committed suicide unless Tyler shot him. Since hannah committed suicide in the first season she gave 13 reasons why she killed herself maybe in season 2 which will be coming in 2018 will start off about how Alex committed suicide and he did the same thing as Hannah but without the tapes he recorded a video instead and clay may not have got along with Alex but he will still cover that up on how come Alex committed suicide. I wouldn't say Toni is a ghost because he interacts with everyone. However, he could be seen as a guardian (real life guardian - as in a real person), who looks after Clay the most because he understands Clay and Hannah's relationship, as he also was the first person to listen to those tapes, and he was the one who decided to give them to Hannah's parents. Hannah did leave a note with the tapes saying for Toni to listen to them and that he will know how to take care of them. Anyone else feel the same?
