Sounds Great!! My Uncle Dennis Has A 2008 F350 Super Duty Lariat King Ranch, And It’s A Nice Pickup! It’s Also A 6.4 When It Broke Down, It Received A New Engine, And All Of The Required Maintenance To Prevent A 6.4 From Breaking Down Again I Always Like Going Next To The Exhaust And Listening To It Idle
You know, I’ve got a 6.0. And I can honestly say the six point fours are the engine to avoid, if at all possible. They usually do not last beyond 150-250,000 miles. They are pretty unreliable starting at around 200,000. But, once you delete all the omissions bullshit, they are a lot more reliable, because they can breathe in and out, especially if you open up the Airbox. I’ve driven a couple of 6.4 L, and yes they are nice, powerful trucks, but you do have to stay on top of them, just like the new 6.7, because of the omissions bullshit you have to fucking deal with. That’s why I like my 6.0. Yes it’s the engine everybody hates on. I do believe, that in all honesty, nothing compares to a Ford, they are, after all the only financially solvent auto maker in the United States. GM, Chrysler, all those companies, have taken government bail out, and that’s why the left side of the fence favors those vehicles. Any decent right wing, red blooded American, who has enough common sense drives a Ford, because they are, after all, simply the best. Drive the best, fuck the rest!
Sure if you have money to spend, get a ford. If u want a reliable engine no matter the condition or mileage, buy a cummins. Hell, dare i say the duramax engines are almost as reliable as the cummins. But ford has always had issues and has always done shit ass backwards for no reason at all.
Who lied to you? The 7.3 is the best PSD ever built. Yeah, it's typically slow but it'll pass up your precious 6.4 while it's in the shop getting the engine replaced. 6.4s are NOT known for going the distance like the 7.3 can. 7.3 can see a million miles EASILY with basic maintenance. I've NEVER seen a million mile 6.0 or 6.4. The 6.4 has been dubbed "the throwaway engine" and for good reason.......
Well it's a 5" tip. I run 4" straight through with a medium tune set at tow or street. Low pressure fuel is set at #2 zero Coal on lift off and there is more there than I need and I'm not attracting heat or Mr.Inspector. I never built a race engine so I don't she's coming up on 500K had to do the rockers at 300K I through in new injectors just cause she has been towing my home + all over the great North West Coast. It's now Oct of 2023 meat or beat heavy-use servings replace fuel filters every second time. Replace coolant with Motor Master + additive every 2 years might need some trans work next year ❤❤😂😂
You kids after the deletes are Done you think it's cool to tune them right up to max HP and set the low pressure fuel to #5. It's all about smoking coal being the hero and attacking the unwanted inspectors.😂😂😂 and having the tow truck service on speed dial. Because your engine is in pieces. And then it. This piece of junk is the worst engine ever. Mine is on a tow or street tune the low-pressure fuel is set at #2 it's got almost 500K on it. I put new rockers in and thought I should do new injectors as well at 300K and it has and will keep pulling my home all over the great North West coast. 😂😂😂😂
