6.5PRC Cartridge Guide continued 

I use a medicine spoon/tube I filed on so kernels would roll off decent and ol lee 4 hole with beams…2yrs on this setup so I’m due for digis,419 funnel..had waypoint 2mons workin with superformance,h4350,n560 and found 1” with 130tmk’s over 55gr of 4350@3200ish..can’t wait to get my h1000,magpro this wk..been a .308 man these 2yrs loadin but 6.5prc is awesome cartridge..

Just came across your channel what a awesome set up you have

How many kernels of powder in one grain? A safe start is taking your desired muzzle velocity with your grain bullet and dividing by the sum of 30+barrel length. Say 3,000 fps / (30+24) = 55.5 grains of powder then you can fine tune from there. Great video, liked and subscribed

Btw I load everyday after work in my laundry room I’ve made into loadin room and to see a place and setup like yours is incredible…stuffs so addicting but I think you’ve bout got it covered…lol I put down a tarp,boards,cheap Caldwell crono,walk 100yrds every time just to fire 5 .223 and may or may not record every shot..lol..I can shoot out my backdoor where I laid a cedar board from sink to wall..but it’s a uphill 520yrd steel so not good for testin…

That h1000 with 144 bergs is probably a pretty happy deal. Slow it up a bit cause it was decent with 135s but obviously had a little room to grow up. Maybe even the 153 but probably too fast, maybe not so smooth as a mag. Ish. Love seeing the different stuff do what it does though.

What a great video, so much good info. trying to find a load for the PRC, in a Bergara 24" barrel , like to shoot 143gr ELD-X hornady and powder IMR 4350, any good info on a start load, or Superformace? Powder they recomend is not available, but have H 4895 , IMR 4350 and superformace, any ideas, what primers, mag or ? Your video has so much great info. The ammo that hornady sells by the box shoots .20 inch groups at 100yds. Thanks so much
