This sub adult eagle is surely checking out Shadow's nest building skills. What beautiful colored feathers it has. Thank you for capturing this wonderful sighting. Loved your written commentary. Thank you. I 🦅💕
Love this!! I haven't seen a sub adult around this age, such beautiful feathers and patterns! Loved the karate kicks and checking out the camera. Just shows how accustomed J&S are to it!
I think he booked this Airbenb(Air Bald Eagle nest Bookings) which is a service designed for young "Baldy's" to visit properly built nests by the Best. First on this list of must visit nest's is the nest built by the one and only "Stick whisperer" Shadow.😊🙏🏼🤭
Just so precious. Looks like a female to me. Fly high and soar the sky sweet and beautiful! You fledged from another nest somewhere. Your an offspring and once…a baby eaglet, it’s comforting to see you thriving. It’s so amazing to see you here visiting. I wonder how far You traveled from? God Bless you!
The colors at this age are so beautiful and unique! So much white on the back and the undersides. When it lifts its wings you can see alot of white. Very stunning mottled colors
Beautiful youthful Eagle! Look at those feathers! It is so gorgeous! How nice of them (from another subscriber in here) to clean up the nest and make it more homely when the owners get back! So majestic as much as the grown ups!
@socaleagle8650- Oh wow, that’s actually a very interesting detail to know! So it very well could be a homecoming of sorts! 🦅 Imagine if he grew up in this very nest, and he’s on a lil Growing Into His Skin Traveling The World Moment! I can imagine he’s so proud to have found it! And the clinky clanky stick sounds are likely so exciting for him to hear! I love that for him 🥰🙏🏽💯🦅!
Marvellous - young eagle playing houses :) It was great to see this beautiful creature and very funny that Shadow came to rearrange his precious sticks!
What a handsome juvenile, looks right at home too! I think it's a female, going by the huge kicks at the camera. Definitely saw it's own reflection. Can't help wonder if it's 1 of Jackie's earlier fledglings. Thank you.
What a beautiful visitor to the nest!! I loved the closeups when he or she took interest in the camera dome. Informative and cute write up under the video.
I’ve only just come across this beautiful video. I’ve never seen a young eagle at this stage before. I love the gorgeous colouring of its feathers and how curious he is. Stick master couldn’t resist rearrange the furniture after the visitor. 🤣 Thank you so much for posting. 🙏🦅❤️
This Sub adult is Simba who has returned home to ĥis place of birth back in 2018 I know this is true cause he wad always a ham in front of the camera and he is waiting for a reunion 👍😀
That would actually be cool if the feather's stayed that way. They are so beautiful!! This eagle went to the salon and got their feathers "colored!" Great for camouflage, and VERY stylish! This eagle is living the good life! 😁😜
I love your breakdowns, thank you! You mention being too young to search for their own nests, so what do they do until they nest? Do they just hangout (like this one. Lol) in other’s nest or on perches? Where do they sleep? Thanks for everything you do, this is so awesome. I was hoping it might be the little one I watched last year, but sadly it wasn’t. Great video though
What a beautiful house (nest) you have here @ The Do Drop Inn.. Don't mind if I do...Nice scenic view ! Beautiful sunrise's & sunset's! .I'm impressed with this architectural design, this is some mad skills here😍❤ Just tidying up a bit, for my return😂 TY FOBBV ❤
This sub-adult eagle is just beautiful. I'm SO grateful that these birds were saved from extinction. This eagle looks like it's about three years old. Hopefully, it has a good chance to survive to adulthood. May it fly high.
Thanks for this. Funny, it seemed to me that Shadow followed the sub-adult's movements more or less, he appeared to stop at the same places at which s/he stopped & even departed from the same spot... Does anyone know what they're up to on SDS - do they always stock sticks there? Or is this new behaviour observed this year?
