It's because SEC is overhyped this year. Seems they are starting to slip, while other conferences are gaining potency. Just take a look at the last couple of bowl seasons. Other than some Ny6 Bowls/CFP... the SEC did pretty bad. LSU got curbstomped by Kansas State about 10 months ago. SEC is way over praised in recent years, all because a few programs won the majority of the National Championships over the last 15 or so years. From the eye test, the SEC looks not much different from the other P5's. Yet people act like that conference is a division of it's own.
@@BuzzLOLOL yep. Then of course the fan base is all in the Southern part of the United States... so the fans are already naturally st*pid, AND insufferable to talk to about football. They literally don't know sh*t outside of their own Fandom or conference.
LSU had their 4th string corner back playing QB against Kansas State & the entire coaching staff was packing their bags.... Talk about cherry picking. SEC east is making a big push with Tenn. and Georgia. Alabama & LSU both still rolling. SEC plays in more bowl games, wins more bowl games, and is 10-1 in CFP semifinals games. OH and they've won the national championship 14 times since 2003. Keep dreaming!
What a game! And thanks to Victors Valiant for the hard work he does. I especially appreciate the black bar over the scores. No longer do I have to put a black elastic band around the bottom of my monitor. Thank you. Thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings.
LSU’s pass rush this game was really incredible, put such immense pressure on Young and made a handful of huge plays that definitely were a big part of that win
You walked into the cathedral of football and you saw a sign which read, " Welcome to Death Valley. " Did you expect to get out alive? Now roll up outta here!!🤣🤣😂🤣💜💛
So many crazy games today from Alabama vs LSU, and SMU vs Houston (both worthy on being on the VV 2022 games of the year playlist) and Notre Dame beating Clemson to the Astros clinching the World Series. Just a crazy day all around the sports world
I agree it was crazy. Also the MLS championship game between LA and Philadelphia was crazy. Last minute goals and penalty kicks. Philadelphia had rough weekend though with both Phillies and their MLS team losing.
WOOHOO!!!!!! Alabama is done!!!!! No playoff for Alabama this year!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!! They should drop out of the Top 10 after this loss. They would have 3 losses if the refs didn't give them the game against Texas
Yeah this was a great one. Could be the start of the Kelly vs Saban era. Will be interesting to see if this is a blip on the radar or a changing of the guard in 10 years. Was a terrific game though and
I am a new guy in this business. Could you please give me an idea of what's wrong with Alabama? Do they have bad reputation? If positive, why? Or you are just kidding?
BK is going to do the same thing Saban did coming to the SEC the talent in the south is far above the rest of the country, especially in Louisiana and LSU won't lose them to Bama anymore
The first half of the season LSU looked goofy as hell. They got beat by FSU in that goofy ass game and trounced by Vols. But now LSU probably can play and beat anybody in CFB. Can not wait to see them playing Dawgs in SEC championship. Who knows.
GUTSY call to go for 2 and win it by Kelly. With one play they pretty much kicked Alabama out of the Playoff. Btw Joe Burrow is right: SEC stadiums are RAUCOUS.
@10:33, was that ruled roughing the passer, or targeting or ...? 14 for Bama missed the hit, actually, so what was the ruling? And then, GREAT GAME! Alabama settled for a field goal to tie, while LSU went for the two-point conversion ... and won! Congrats, LSU.
Well over 90% of college football fanbases are happy that we're finally getting a national championship game without Alabama or Clemson after 7 straight years with one or both of them.
LSU blitzed a lot and the middle was open. Bryce had the TE open almost every play and he wouldn't run. The play calling was very bad. They needrf 4 yars on 2nd down and would pass the ball. I would have loved to see the running quarterback in the game
That was a take-away on the sideline. Refs had to dig deep to keep Alabama in the game. How can you say the guy didn't control the ball when he was first to touch it with both hands AND he came up with it? Swap the jerseys and Alabama gets that ball 10 out of 10 times...
You’d think these teams won a championship why fans storm field after beating bama smh hate how bad defense is constantly putting so much stress on the offense to be perfect
Well I got a couple friends who's Alabama fans on suicide watch I just told them they might as gone do what they gotta do couse it's over for the overated.....Alabama crimson tide ...
Finally, Bama will be left out of the CFP. They aren't anywhere near as good as they were 2 years ago. The dynasty and bias from the committee are the only reasons they made it last year. I'd like to see Georgia, Ohio State, TCU, and Tennessee. Clemson is ass, Michigan is over rated, Bama needs to regain consistency, the entire Pac-12 is garbage, and there are no spectacular G5 schools this year...
I don't know how much more evidence the University of Alabama needs. Nick needs to retire at seasons end so they can find an able coaching staff while the Alabama job can still be seen as a good job. The fact that Pete Golding has been at Alabama as long as he has been there tell you everything you need to know about the leadership at Alabama. So please Alabama.... Do the right thing and get rid of this entire coaching staff.
lmao. Right here is what sports fans are all about. Happens to every coaching legend. Guy gives you the greatest run of championships in CFB history, then a couple of only great seasons ->>> THROW HIM AWAY!!! He's old, he's overrated, he's embarrassing!!! That's gratitude, that's self-awareness. That's what respect REALLY means in the end, folks.
It was a top 10 game where Bama was 14 point favorite going into this game. As a forever LSU fan, this game meant everything to us. A trip to SEC championship and a trip to the playoffs. We had every right to storm the field
Alabama showed up, but that was about it, they played really shitty and LSU outplayed them most of the night. Saban needs to get a grip on this team and he has not done that and it shows in poor play. LSU was ready to win and Alabama was not ready to win, so what else can you say? Alabama is not playing as a team and to tell the truth, I don't know what the hell they are doing, but they are not winning any damn thing!!!!!
