After watching Karima's interview, I was filled with hope BUT I don't seem to understand the application timing or period. Priscilla, Not necessarily programming but it can be a statistical software to help your research. And you know as an Economist I learn R basically to help with my data analysis. So those skills will help you to fill some gaps when you get here and also put in you a good position among your contemporaries. If you did computer science, you can still learn more programming skills and better get well equipped with a particular software.

Hello, It will depend on the school’s threshold for the TOEFL score.

@@jessicabeca1234 However, you can reach out the grad coordinator, cuz the English test score shouldn’t be a key hindrance since you will be having that with your proof of English proficiency Besides, the application process goes along with other documents and your chances will be contingent upon those other docs as well. Generally, they are two different individuals but sometimes you might have the grad coordinator being your advisor.

We appreciate the information, Mr. Kingsford. However, I require your assistance with this scholarship; I applied for an undergraduate degree program, though all requirements have not been met but it's under processing. However, I am unfamiliar with how this scholarship works; I contacted the school, but they stated that if any scholarship is awarded, it will be mailed to me upon acceptance. My concern is this: Do you believe a full scholarship can be awarded? If the answer is "No," how can I get one please. Many thanks.

Hi there, Good to have you here First, scholarship is not lottery. In that regard, each school’s admission and scholarship requirement is normally spelt out…try as much as possible to check them out and meet if not all, the ones you can. The onus lies on the scholarship committee to decide whether you’ll be awarded. Best regards!

It takes time. However, labour economics is an area of specialization so you won't get a PhD specifically designed for labour economics rather a full fledge PhD in Economics.

Kingsford you're not telling truth because it's not easy for you to get fully funded scholarship in USA for the first year as international student. Tell them the truth radar than lying for views. It's not easy to pay get fully funded scholarship to USA. Francisca Lamini got the same type of scholarship to study in Harvard University 🎓. Is it easy to get 8A's? Tell them the truth

Thanks for your concern. I doubt you understand the application process and the different categories. Undergrad and Grad application process varies. Find time and peruse the remaining videos to understand how things work. We have different kinds of scholarships and in US each type have their eligibility criteria, spanning from merit based, need-based, skill-based and the likes. READ!!!

It's not easy to get those scholarships and most criteria don't favor the third country nationals. Most of them are for their citizens because i recently checked US student loan debt. They're using international students money to fund their schools. US is nice country but it's not easy to get the scholarship and I know you paid fees for the first year.

Hello… good day Thank you for this information on RU-vid … please i want to ask few questions. 1. I searched for schools & the deadline they have is Regular which falls in July. Someone told me that the period which states Regular does not include scholarship. 2. I was told by someone that schools do not give scholarship & that if I want to get scholarship, I should apply during September for early action in any school which will be effective 2023. 3. My question is how true is this information? I have started gathering the transcript statement of purpose, Application essay e.t.c which I know I will need to submit 4. I finished school 2018, went for NYSC in 2019. Studied mass communication in a polytechnic I have my HND with GPA of 2.78. What will you advise I do. Wait till admissions will roll for early action which might start in September or apply for rugular which deadline ends July 2022
