*EXTRA TIPS* Make multiple gates that enemies have to go through in your base, so you can shoot enemies before they break through your last gate. Make a base next to water and put the walls to your base open to the water, making enemy raids have to swim in the water to get inside your base. Shoot them with mounted crossbows while they are swimming. If you're playing a game where you never reload, always have one skeleton live in town always, they don't need food ever, and if your entire party is wiped out and killed you can use that one skeleton to recruit new characters. Try and make that one skeleton your armor and weaponsmith too, so you can always have the best weapons.
Just be careful, sometimes if you have multiple gates to get in, after breaking the first gate they may just go to a wall section and destroy that. Great tips tho!
Gread vid, I have two more tips for beginners: go to The Grid with a few tools if you don't have high skills in lock-picking, it's a peaceful biome with almost no enemies and lots of research books and valuable stuff to sell for some early game money, for early mid-game, you can become a millionaire by making and selling robotics repair kits, so in addition to having a weaponsmith and armor smith as you suggested, it's good to have a couple of people (preferably skeletons due to racial xp boost) work on robotics early on.
Training for strength: 1. load up your toon's backpack with ores, full if you can. but at least 80% encumbrance. 2. select a location with great good distance, in Squin town you can create a Point A to Point B by the entrances, it's straight and safe in there and no bandits distrubing you. 3. pause the game, hold down shift key, right click on those two points alternately (end to end) up to 80 lapse. Release shift key, unpause, you just assigned your toon a job to exercise ;) press the fast forward to make him do that fast. Edit: You can do this same strat for stealth.
If you pick skeleton as your first race, the west hive is your friend(Cheap skeleton repair kits+Acess to repair beds early). The cannibal of Fog Islands don't really like to eat metal, but they're dumb enough to beat on it... Its the best place in the game to train endurance or any other combat skill. Don't go there if you're fleshy though, unless you want your limbs torn and face eaten.
Just started a few days ago and made my way to mongrel.. 2 guys got kidnapped and 1 was able to escape but sadly I watched the other one be eaten alive lol
Thanks for the tips, also just saying, it'd be easier to listen to if you edited out your stammers and stutters. It's like an auditory speed bump. But again, good tips and thanks.
Really enjoyed the video. I've played Kenshi for around 60 hours and this still had some good tips for me. To help with your vids, I would make your on screen video more relevant to what your talking about. Editing sucks sometimes, but I think it will help. Subbed.
I'm sorry for taking a whole freaking two months to reply to your comment, but I do greatly appreciate the tip! I have recently attempted to follow your advice and it has greatly helped out! So I greatly appreciate you!
there step on kenshi... playing vanilla.... playing with people mod... playing with your own mod... playing with other people mod that you edit to make chaos with your own mod... tips for me,easy friend with city that have police building it when you gona report use pause button after the policeman gonna take the bounty, when in pause chat to the police man again ,you not gonna make another money from the same person, but the relation still goes up,can goes from 0 to 100 with 2 bounty if you do it right and fast, better if the police man already pick someone...
Yoooo how’s it going man!! It’s wigs if you forgot ;) we should game together some time :) if not all good bro just happy to see your having fun and enjoying life
I'm not a big fan of mods, but even I use a few. I like the P40 skeletons, and the soldier skeletons that use to be available for start characters pre-release. I also created my own mod that assigns armor colors to my own faction on those armors that can be dyed. There are a couple more, but nothing that changes the Vanilla experience. No OP mods.
Dude. Subbed. Expected at least a few k subs, looked at the channel and only 390!? Deserves way more. I’m a new player to kenshi and these tips were amazing. Keep it up my guy.
