I bought an iPhone 12 64 gb from a store in Carlton centre mall and when I checked the battery health it shows that the battery health is 89%. Should I return it ?
89% is not bad, especially for an iPhone 12. You can charge the phone to 100%, then use the phone the whole day and see how long the battery lasts for, you should get at least 6hours or more of battery use. But make your own judgement if you’re not happy with the performance and how long it can last. If you’re not happy then return it.
The owner of the store told me it was a new phone and he sold me the phone sealed in the iPhone box when I checked the battery health, I told him that it was 89% and he told me that it was normal for an iphone's battery health to drain while its in the box since the iPhone 12 was released in 2020, I will go back tommorow to the store to return the iPhone. Thank you so much man keep up the good work
Hi there, they have very good pricing. However I’m not sure of their pre-owned iPhones’ condition guide. And it appears they don’t have a walk in store. So it can be tricky to know about the condition of the phone you are buying it pre-owned. Also you’ll have to find more info on their warranty before you buy.
Hi there, I think the best way to verify the iPhone is you should be able to sign-in with your Apple ID, Update the software and be able open App Store and download Apps, also add your phone to the Find My iPhone App. If you have other Apple devices it’s easier, you will receive notification that you’ve used your Apple ID on a new iPhone, you should also be able to see the new iPhone on Find my iPhone App. In addition, if you had an iPhone or Apple device connected to iCloud Drive before, you should be able to retrieve your backed up files and photos from files app under iCloud Drive.
They should be good deals, however I would only recommend Amazon as last option. Because Amazon is international e-commerce platform, sometimes you can expect delays and complexities on deliveries to South Africa.
