Man I thought most of your content was a little corny but I have an all new respect for you for actually being honest and sharing this type of info. Very inspiring.
a little corny is putting is pretty fucking lightly. Its flat out fake content......All hes doing it promoting other people doing stupid shit. This guy should be tossed in the fkin ocean. No wonder his wife left him.
Justin! I’ve been following you since your early magic days. Please make more of these, man. Would be dope to see you discuss more creator economy and business stuff. Super dope.
This was informative and nice. How are you really financing it. Houses, time, food, these cost way more than 120k. Shorts isn't a viable business model, it might be ok as lead gen for a better business. What are your thoughts on this?
I think I believe him, because seeing how this full video only has 14k views after 2 months. Shorts Pau about 10% of the revenue you can get from full videos.
Love that you are being open about everything and happy to see more long form as I have been watching for years and you got me into trying out card magic for my kids and family! You even read one of my questions on a video while you were flying! I would love to see you performing magic again!!!
Cool but shocking. I've had 6 million views on long-form and made about $55,000. If I had 6 billion views I would have made $55 million dollars! 😮 Watch time is key.
I felt very bad for short form content creators For long form content you can get upto 20000 dollars per million views and much more if you have sponsorship 😢
Inspiring, I have a channel but fell ill with cancer quickly after so never got it going with my original idea but.... Now to note it out on my phone. Congrats on your success!
Great video. I have alot more respect for you now than I had, your content is sludgy but it racks in so many views and likes. you clearly know what's going on and is best, great guy.
God i miss the old Flom, As a kid id look up to him as an aspiring magician. From the Flom magic parties, him riding around vegas and talking about cars, family and magic. I will never forget it. Now its such a shame. From fake, scripted, clickbait, poor acting reels/tiktok's/shorts. That are so so cringe and tacky, ive had to unsubscribe many years ago. Followed the sway of views, copying trends and appealing to the younger audiences, the dumber audiences. The majority. If it gets clicks and views i guess it works. I just miss the originality. Not selling out or using the platform for this kind of gain. Rather to share a story, inspire or create like it once did. If you're reading this Justin, i no longer look up to you. I guess i could be bitter, wrong or just an outright dick now ive grown up. This is just my opinion and doesnt matter at the end of the day. But I believe social media has warped you, changed you. All of your content used to be something to look back on. You're reels, i cant say the same.
Ik u prolly wouldn’t do long length vids cuz they are not as efficient to make as ur shorts. But it’d be entertaining to see some full vids about ur background, behind the scenes of ur shorts, teaching about media creation, projects etc. this video was great and really insightful btw
Thanks for the pertinant information on RU-vid earnings, my partner showed me your Tom and Jerry vid some months ago and we thought it was great, we are looking to start putting up content soon. Many thanks from the U.K
Last time I saw one of your videos, you were just a kid! Now you're a grown man. Time flies. I remember being blown away by your abilities as magician and performance artist. I think the first video I saw was a block party magic show like ten years ago. Are you still performing? Will you be posting more magic material? Where can we see you live?
This was really cool to see! It’s not often that you come across someone with this much success on RU-vid that will make a video discussing and explaining all these topics, going over all their analytics, strategies, honest numbers, advice and do it all in such a humble and truly informational way. Much respect man! Thank you for all your insight and showing us how things work behind the scenes!
6 billion views for a regular RU-vid video would make you like 6 million min at a cpm of 1 dollar but could be even more since it is about 3 dollars avg so shorts has a smaller cpm 🧐
I know this is obscure but, Justin holding that little microphone reminds me of an old video called, "The dub room special", by Frank Zappa. It may only have petit views, but it was Grand entertainment.
Novo inscrito do Brasil. Fiquei sabendo que seu primeiro vídeo foi a 16 anos atrás. Parabéns. Obrigado por compartilhar este excelente vídeo inspirador. Like merecido.
Dude, you should take down one of the shorts you posted about teaching a girl who cannot swim, wear the lifejacket in the worst way possible. That is a dangerous misinformation that could lead to deadly consequences. Life jackets are supposedly worn on the torso because buoyancy would keep their upper body floating and keep them breathing. Now if you let them wear it as a diaper just like the video, obviously, if they lose their floating balance because of sheer panic and unnecessary movements, they will tip upside down and because of buoyancy, the life jacket would keep itself afloat while the wearer has their upper body under the water, drowning. As someone with a large amount of subsribers, it is your responsibility to share the right information to people so they don't do it and avoid deadly consequences.
Now spill the beans on what you made through adds, affiliates, sponsers and other incomes that come with RU-vid lol because you’re making far more than 122k
On one hand that's great that you eventually made some real money doing what you enjoy, entertaining people with magic tricks and gags. On the other hand frankly it's lamo stingy that RU-vid basically hands content creators a $20 bill in exchange for a MILLION views?! LOL.
Only thing I'm known for by everyone is my facial expressions to basically anything and everything..ppl say it's hilarious but I can't tell what they are talking about..I doubt I could make money off that one talent lol
Total views on your youtube channel: 6,056,421,475 until April 22 2023 Let's assume 1,056,421,475 views are from long videos. Remaining 5,000,000,000 views And you are making $0.02 per 1000 views, That means for 5 billion views, you might have made around $100,000 😉🤔 Woah, it would take me to earn this much around 16 years with current salary that too when I will save every single penny with no expense😮
Not sure you know what content is, or maybe the word is quality, who knows. You'd made your cash, I'm not hating, but damn don't take the title of content creator from those who actually produce content
Don’t you think he produces content? I always thought people who don’t produce content are the guys who sit in their bedroom talking about stuff while playing a video game, or take their shirt off and do a stupid dance in front of strangers yet somehow get paid millions
