Aww, it’s so sweet you are using what your dad made. I miss my dad so much. I find some of his things and I can’t bear to throw it away. 😢😢😢 I hold on to most of his things, because I was only 15 when he passed, I am 52 now, and I still miss him so much. I want to recreate the mummy I love working with wood. ❤️☺️❤️ You said you’re “not being too neat…” girl, I don’t think you know how to “not be neat,” even your not so neat stuff is neat. 😂 That is why I enjoy watching you, you pay attention to the details and aren’t just throwing stuff together. 😊Awesome projects. ❤❤❤
Mrs. Karen I would give anything if you lived beside me. I would watch every time you make something in AW!! You have a mighty gift to do crafts. Every time I watch you I can’t move want answer my phone and dare anyone to ring my doorbell.
She really does, and her thumbnails for her videos are awesome, too. 😊 She is actually using some creativity, rather than just painting something and slapping an IOD product on everything. 🤦♀️
You are the neatest crafter. My work space looks like a hurricane hit it. After I reach 10 layers of stuff and have no surface showing, I clean. You literally have no mess. Impressive
I have always wondered why people don’t glue all the thin wood pieces together, to make them look more substantial, and more expensive. Some of the dollar tree crafts just look like…well, dollar tree crafts, cheap, when they could be so much more with a little effort and creativity. That is why I love your channel, it is so refreshing to see actual creativity. Your channel, by far, is one of the absolute best I have seen, your thumbnails are top notch (thank you for showing your projects in your thumbnails), everything about your channel is perfection. I am a perfectionist, and sometimes I find it as a weakness, but it absolutely has its strengths, and your projects show that. As an artist, my brain craves creativity and uniqueness, and I find that in your channel. 😊
New sub and love your projects! The ghost, spindle legs and little boots look like it would cost $150.00 at Pottery Barn!! Looking forward to watching more from you! Greetings from Buffalo NY!!!❤
I loved them all! Your items are always so high end, and so detailed. The witch with the spindle legs and the adorable witches shoes was my favorite - hard to imagine they came from dollar tree baby booties!
Holy ghost Karen, never thought to glue all the wood ornaments together to make one thick piece, nicely done. Great crafting, they look awesome. ❤😊Linda
Thank you so much Linda! Go back to my Easter video 5 months ago to see how I glued the large leaping bunnies together...they make me giddy! I also glue their 12" wood rounds together to get a higher end looking sign.
I freakin love those ghosts!! I cannot wait to recreate them with my supplies! Brilliant! Oh, and the word you were looking for was "brads" I believe. The little things you stick into paper. ❤
Thanks Girl! Did you miss the little note I added to the screen... I remembered what they were called when I was editing! 🤦♀️ Have fun and reach out if you have questions!
I just came across your channel and watched this video. I am now a subscriber!! You are so very talented and this video is packed full of cuteness. I cannot wait for future videos and, before the next one comes out, I will be watching your past ones. Angela
Wow🤯 your creations are so beautiful!! I love them all!! The boots you made from clay, super cute!! You just created a whole little figurine! EVERYTHING! Is super cute🫶🏻 and your little DG ghost, I just paid $5.99 at Marshall’s for one without the boo 🫠 and I also saw the shiny ghosts, but didn’t like color. Now I know! I’m going back🤗 thank you so much!! I’m definitely subscribing for my ideas! Look forward to more🥰 … Bunny💕
Thanks so much Bunny! FYI... I saw a post where the crafter bought 3 of the DG ghosts, painted them and put B O O on each one and lined them up... sooo cute! 😊
I think it has to be...that wicked "smaht" lol. I love it!!! We have a friend from up around there living with us and he sounds just like her. He takes the R out of words like Car and yard but puts an R on the end of other words like Sarar (Sarah)
Hi Karen, so glad I found your channel. I do have a couple of questions I hope you will answer. Could you tell me the measurements of the cut out your dad cut for you & the channel that made the mummy you posted the picture of. TFS, all of your projects was amazing
Hi Mona... welcome to The Loft! I will get measurements for you when I get home. The inspiration for the mummy was from kellysuniqueprimatives.com she is also on Etsy... I don't think she has a youtube channel.
OK...my mummy is about 8" wide and about 17" to his shoulders and his head is about 6" making him about 23" tall. You won't need to cut out the V between the legs... that was so I could pants on it to make little trick or treaters.
