Can you seriously make an album using the tones and song titles you came up with? Make it a concept album of whatever story you can come up with. Everything sounds so good and worked well together!
The m1 definitely blew my socks off with how much it offers. The chorus, tremelo, rotary, and filtervall blew me away, but the phase left a lot to be desired to me and thats my fave effect. Incredible how much you can do with just the 4 mako pedals.
I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I almost returned it. I'm not really a modulation player, but I have to say, what you did on this video with the M1 inspired me enough to keep it and explore some more.
I am thinking of returning mine all the setting don’t seem to change much. The chorus is weak but used to extremes like on this vid is probably the answer.
Great way of presenting a pedal. This cinematographic angle is great. I love so much Norway, I had the chance to stay twice in Oslo, more than ten years ago. Time flies. Cheers from France.
I know this has been a lot of work but was totally worth it for me, it was a very pleasing and enjoyable video very different from the other pedal demos video. Staying ahead of the crowd it is not easy today and you just did it with this video. Compliments, looking forward to the next ones.
I’ve seen lots of your videos, but hands down this is the best I’ve ever seen, regardless of the pedal. The scenes from around town are so classy yet unassuming. Executed beautifully! Thanks a lot!
This video had amazing aesthetics and sounds! It's clear you like video making and photography. Great northern elegant shots. I know you know but remember when you're too tired that you're also great at just playing stoner riffs in your guitar room with some new odd amps. Bravo!
I had an RV-3 like 23 yrs ago. Got it off a friend for like 30 bucks. It was my first delay pedal and reverb pedal. I sold it for a DD-20 in like 2006. I still miss that RV-3 and I never even tried it in stereo
You know, I always thought you lived on a farm way out in the sticks (not too unlike myself) but I guess Oslo must be close by for you. Beautiful tones from this pedal too. I can't say there was a setting I didn't like. There's a lot of depth and versatility there, and I say that as someone who barely uses any modulation stuff in what I do.
Stereo? Sure, why not. But honestly, I listened to this captivating soundscape (and watched the delightful eye candy of it) with great, immersive enjoyment…all while wearing only a single AirPod Pro. The feelings came across quite fine, even in mono, and even in just one ear whilst doing a bit of morning yoga with sheets of blustery rain not able to obscure the morning blush spreading across the firmament like spilled ink on smudgy paper. ;-) In short, you nailed it, and made me even happier that I will seen be receiving a used M1 to use as my only chorus/vibrato pedal on my combined acoustic and electric guitar pedalboard. With the D1 (V2) also soon to arrive, plus my existing Cloudburst and Two Notes Opus, it looks like I‘m going to want to add a Midi foot controller to my shopping list, just to tickle all the goodness out of these pedals without getting distracted too much from my playing or my audiences. I‘m fearing the Midi leap, but every jump into unknown territory usually rewards us royally, n‘est-ce pas? ;-)
I think using the m1 as your go to effect for a few of your gain pedal videos would be cool, I feel like it would save you a lot of time and I know I for one could get all the mod sounds i want out of it.
I really enjoyed watching this, Oslo is a beautiful city. My family emigrated to the US from Norway over 100 years ago, I’d love to see it in person someday. Great work!
Video is wonderful! I came to buy the pedal for my synths and i stayed for the video. Beautiful anamorphic set. i was wondering how did you manage to add those "film moving" titles, is it a plug in or? Thank you!
Eirik maybe you could do a video on how someone who only plays mono can get into playing stereo. Maybe give some tips, what the differences are... That'd be cool!
Your videos have gotten very nice. Great quality and presentation. How does the Tremolo compare the Harmonious Monk? Want to replace it with an M1 as it does more but the Monk is really really good.
Thanks man! I would not recommend to replace a pedal that you really really like. Even though the M1 is very good also, it's difficult to say if it can replace the Monk. I would have to do a A/B test to find out. So maybe don't sell the Monk until you have them side by side, and then decide.
wow, what a production. could you tell pretty please how did you make this kind of text (wobbly/grainy)? also I wonder about the grain effect - is it a plugin?
I always think it's scary to replace things that you really like. They are analog, this pedal isn't. So I wouldn't do it unless you're able to A/B them and then decide.
