What are you looking for to be in that dashboard specifically? We do have a team performance dashboard that pulls everyone's ClickUp performance, but don't use ClickUp to create a dashboard for each person. Though you can, that would be a lot of dashboards when your team size get's larger.
We are using a personal dashboard that is similar to what you shared in this video. I am thinking of a dashboard for team members' performance for quarterly discussions@@ZenPilot
What about using ClickUp to draw out a “wish list” or ideas that aren’t yet on the roadmap? They won’t be assigned yet because we haven’t pushed them forward, but don’t want to lose the ideas for the future.
We typically use a "planning" status for all of these tasks. Any time you have an idea, just add it as a task with a "planning" status. Then you can funnel all of these ideas in to one view by filtering by "status is planning" to see and actually plan them out.
Is there a way to filter one view to a list name? For instance, I want to create a “client request” list for tasks of retainer clients and would like that I be shown as a view, or would you just suggest that being a part of the overall task list?
Not a bad idea at all to keep this separate. You could have separate widgets to show the different task lists - regular work vs. client requests - and then another view that shows them all together. You could leverage a custom field here to filter out that view. And if you use a form to capture those requests, you'd be able to automate that process and apply the custom field to all requests that are submitted via the form.
I appreciate the reply. Do you suggest a form capture for clients to submit or just send them a link to add a task themselves? And are the forms attached to the folder level or list level? Asking for duplicating or templating purposes. @@ZenPilot
