My mistake is buying things I want to OWN vs USE. I now try to think about how much I’ll use an item and not just the excitement of obtaining it.

Yes that is true. For me is the idea of “owning a staple” or “ owning a classic piece” and then not wearing it.

Buying just because it is on sale. That's something I did quite a bit, but never really wear them. I also think buying things you want compared to need are key to figure out. Wants shouldn't be impulse buys. Write the piece down, then go back to it in a few weeks and see if you really need/want it then.

As a fellow European. I think if you have an accent, putting subtitles in to the video (although time consuming) can be a good idea. I understand you fine, but some people have a hard time with accents outside of UK and US. Good stuff in the video though.
