Mini-documentary about a 6 day adventure in Jotunheimen, Norway, Including hikes to Besseggen, Kollhoin and Sør-Koppe. First we traveled 4 hours by car from Ulsteinvik to Bessheim. Then we walked 3 km up to Bessvatnet (a lake) to camp for 3 days. From there we hiked both Besseggen and Kollhoin. Then we headed for Brimi to set up our tents there, and the following day hike Sør-Koppe. Filmed with the Panasonic G85, editet in FCPX. Shot in 1080p 24fps.

Such a beautiful video! We visited Jotunheimen in August 2018 and the memories give me nostalgic tears (Gjendesheim - (Besseggen) - Gjendebu - Olavsbu - Fondsbu) and having travelled through more than 30 countries over 5 continents, Jotunheimen still makes #1 on my list favourite places so far! Planning Lofoten and Senja this year, hopefully it works out!

It is legal to camp anywhere along the track, yeah. In Norway, you can basically camp anywhere you´d like in the wilderness (as long as it is more than 100 metres away from cabins). It is a great hike!

Nice Video and very good editing style. I can imagen how you feel as "the guy with the camera" in the group... you are never on the shot, you are alone on the shot or you have to annoy everybody in the group "guys, could you just walk that way again..." :D at 5:05 I noticed it the first time. 4 People walking around the corner but just one was continou walking around the corner. But anyhow - Looks like you had much fun :-)

you can drink from every stream and tap in Norway my friend. Clean water everywhere. Just don't drink from a stream near a glacier! Too many old minerals.

How many kilometres do think you could walk in a day (8-10h) in Jotunheimen?

It all depends on the terrain! But I guess I could do 20 km in 8-10h. My brother was in Jotunheimen this summer, and he hiked about 30 km in like 13 hours, but that included some mountain peaks.
