@Nqnix nah, honestly, they probably have a lot of stories planned and the egg was just one of them, since they also have tales of the smp and the ranboo lore, the egg is just another lore for people who couldn't or didn't like the disks saga :)

The discs are getting a little old. There's no sense of stakes that the disc saga used to have back in July. I was interested at first until it became annoying. Music discs aren't that hard to get, but he acts like they're the only ones you could ever get on the server(Same with dream). I feel like if he would've spent the amount of time he took preparing the fight with dream into farming them off creepers a lot of horrible events in the SMP wouldn't have even happened. In the Dream smp finale, I honestly didn't care at all(Except for the fact that they had one last cannon life). It seemed redundant to go all this way for a couple of the most common discs in the game. They also never explain why Tommy or Dream love the disc so bad, so I can't have sympathy over either of them since there's no sense of motivation. That's where it goes sour for me since I loved the disc saga that they did back in July since it made sense that Tommy would want the discs since it takes effort to get them especially considering the fact that he just joined the server and getting discs that early on in the game is a pretty difficult thing to do without dying. Dream also steals the discs from Tommy for no reason, he wants the disc badly which is never explained, and went to great lengths to steal it from Tommy when he could've gotten one himself. Besides all that, it was pretty innocent with the way it was set up last summer but then you cut to the finale and everything just falls apart. Tommy spent weeks preparing to fight dream, grinding on enchants and getting full netherite armor along with Tubbo just so they could fight dream who also grinded out for weeks getting the best armor and materials for the 2 vs 1 showdown and made a fucking underground extravagant base just to hold 2 of the most common discs in the game. At that point, it seemed pretty pointless to go through all that trouble to begin with and this is when I started to take the dream smp less seriously. Words can't describe how pointless that battle was. I had a Minecraft world which I had for about 4 months now, and 1 month in I got all the discs in the game. And Melohi and Cat are so common and now every time I'm making a build at night and a skeleton accidentally kills a creeper and drops melohi and cat I just think back to how much the dream smp plot bothers me. No one probably made it to the end of this youtube comment but if you did I just want to say it's okay if you like the disc saga and Tommyinnit that's fine. I know it seems like I'm bashing on Tommy only, but I want to make it clear that I'm also talking about dream as well. The fact that dream cares soooo much about these discs is honestly just worst than Tommy own disc obsession tbh. I love the smp and Tommy and Dream respectively, and I feel like I just wanted to say my piece since I never hear a dream smp fan actually criticize the dream smp in any negative way at all whether through Twitter, Reddit, or RU-vid or at least so far. I'm not a hater I just wanted to give my own perspective and if you respectively disagree then that's fine, I just want to get this off my chest.

@@that1guy324 I totally get your anger, but you do have to remember it’s a roleplay and scripted. The discs are meant to have a significance because they were the “originals”. If you have something you hold really dear to you and you lose it, you wouldn’t just want a replacement. You’d want that thing back. Of course, sometimes it feels like c!tommy is a little bit too desperate for them. From what I’ve gathered the discs for him seem to represent happier times, back in early lmanburg era when it was just him and tubbo against the world. I’ve also seen some interesting takes saying that the reason c!Tommy is like this is due to him sort of needing a goal, something to fight for in order to feel like he’s being fulfilled; like he’s really living. A lot of Tommy hate seems to be based off a lack of understanding for his character so just wanted to share. If you’re uninterested in his plot line though then that is totally all right and understandable! And in terms of Dream...well, we never quite know what he’s thinking, do we? I think that’s part of the fun! He’s terrifying and confusing because you can never quite figure out what’s in that twisted mind of his.

Stans are like super fans, they don’t stalk or do werid things. That would then be called stalkers or yeah stalker fans. But stans aren’t the same as stalker fans. Dream talked about this in his second channel that you can check it and get a better understanding. So basically fans are fans that enjoy watching that specific person, stans are extremely fans that enjoy watching that person and loves to get inspired and do all the things they do. And stalker fans are people who like or maybe don’t like watching them and they want to know information about them and ask for face reveal or voice reveal often. Those people who recently “doxxed” dream were being called stans when they are actually stalker fans who didn’t doxxed dream but made it look like it.
