I loved all your choices! Yes, people can go simple … pen, paper and Bible. But showing folks all the options excites us to jump into The Word. Maybe someone new to studying didn’t know there were options to Bible translations or that a Bible dictionary was available. Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing 🩵
I use a lot Of washy tape, different colored pens, I do a lot of printing as well as sometimes I do not have the money to go out and get stickers so I will color it if it needs to make it pop out more.. I wish there was a attach button I would show you, I love watching ur videos
Thank you so much! I thought about including Washi tape in the video, but I don't use it very often anymore. I may include it in an upcoming video, though.
Great suggestions. 😊 Sections of your video reminded me of the children’s story “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.” 😊 “When you have all these pens, you’ll need something to carry them in.” Love it!
That bag may not look like a necessity, but I’ve been using a large Neverfull with an organizer for a few years to go to church or Bible study. It has all of my Bible stuff PLUS a coffee and a small lap blanket. Sunday morning I’m there for at least 2.5 hours!
I love the NLT for pleasure reading and quiet time. I use several different transactions for deeper study. I've been eyeing the csb that you have recommended. My oldest bibles are NASB and NIV. Recent acquisitions are Dr David Jeremiah Study Bible in NKJV, and a cultural background study Bible in NIV, and a ESV journaling Bible. Yes I love all of them. I have a KJV but rarely look at it. I keep it in case I run into a KJV only believer.
New subscriber! I decided to start a journey with Christ and decided to become a Chaplain. I’m going through school part time. Your videos have been such a blessing! I just ordered those tabs from Amazon. It makes moving through the Bible much easier. I’m hoping to get the She Reads Bible as I’m using a free NIV Bible my friend gave me and doing a lot of translation. Thank you for all you do!
Hello! And congratulations on your decision of faith and vocation! I hope you find the resources around her helpful on your journey. Keep us posted on school and becoming a chaplain!
I have the Holman Bible Atlas, Dr. J. Vernon McGee commentary and David Jeremiah Study Bible. Thanks for sharing your favorites. I may get a Bible Dictionary.
@@wendycoop Wow! I would not have guessed it was built from Lego pieces. So cool! My daughter -she's in her 20s-builds Lego gardens and the first time I saw them, I was blown away on how beautiful they are. What a great craft project! 👏
Great list of supplies. Have you ever read the IPV Bible Background Commentary? I it's my favorite commentary. lol, and the bag is great. I knew it was a craft bag as soon as I saw it.
Ooo...adding a few of these to my wish-list! Yesterday, I ordered 3 sets of Mr. Pen Highlighters and got one set this morning. Love! Bible Dictionaries are so awesome and adds so much to your studies. Love the ones you have. ❤ Really love everything you have shown. That bag... ❤ Thank you!
@@stephaniehopkinsartist That's literally the only drawback. It can be hard to gauge the size just from looking at it on Amazon. I think that's how I ended up with the large one.
@@wendycoop thank you for letting me know. Definitely will take that into consideration. You could probably include craft/papercrafting projects in there as well or a lap quilt or blanket to put on your lap if you're studying on the sofa. I'm rambling.
@@stephaniehopkinsartist Oh definitely you could put the extras in there. It doesn't have a laptop/tablet sleeve, so I would use a separate sleeve for that if you want to stick one in there.
Hi Wendy, great items.. I use the midline highlighters and to write I use the Pentel 0.3 pen. I also have both dictionaries. Thanks for all the great resources.
Im addicted to journals and office supplies. I buy all my journals from thrift stores. Most are new and unused and really good quality. I also scored a set of micron pens in various volors gor a couple of bucks from the thrift store.
Thank you - great resources. I also like the Ungers Bible Dictionary. My new favorite tool is the book by Nancy Dawson, “All the Genealogies in the Bible.” You won’t be carrying this huge volume around but you will be using it all the time for your personal study. Bless you in your studies!
LOL, I found you through the Dollar Tree video. I have a Super Giant Print NIV Bible because I can read it. I went to the store to pick it out to see if I could read the font or not. I also have a Kindle Tablet, and my dad got me Wi-Fi.
I am still struggling with pens in my bible. I like very fine points so that I can write very small. I find that the thin bible pages are easily indented through several thicknesses when I use ball point pens. I like felt tips, but I hate needle points and so far the smallest bullet point felt tip I can find is 7 mm which is far too thick. My current go-to felt tip is a 02 sakura pigma micron or a 01 nanoliner from Royal Langnickel. Oddly, the 01 nanoliner has a thicker line than the 02 micron. I have some 003 LePens but they dry out so quickly I can barely get a sentence written before I need to cap it again and let the tip resaturate. I get my felt tips from various craft stores - Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and even Meijer. My daily writer is a uni jetstream 0.38 mm multipen that I special order from a Japanese stationary store. I got my Holman Dictionary at Hobby Lobby for $11 on clearance.
Hi Wendy, I loved this video- so much information! I'll share this, I LOVE the Mr. Pen return policy. No matter how long or for what reason they will replace! I also love that they are teachers and believers 🥰
I absolutely love the Bible knowledge commentary…I have gotten several people hooked on it also! It’s so good. I have also been enjoying the cultural background study Bible, especially for Old Testament studies. I use the Holman Bible atlas, but I don’t know if I would purchase the same one again.
I just discovered your channel and I enjoyed this video so much. I can organize my Bible study supplies and have a bag that will be great to carry my Bible and lesson books to church. I look forward to watching your videos!
I have both of those Bible dictionaries. I love that bag! It’s what I’ve been looking for because it has a flap to close on the top. Tfs Wendy! Love your channel!
I just started watching you recently. I love your content. I had seen the Bible Knowledge Commentary set on Faith’s channel but your video convinced me to go ahead and get them. I use discbound notebooks, Tul pens, and mild liners. I have several bibles: NKJV, NASB, ESV (spiral set and a thin line for church), a Berean bible, and Complete Jewish Study Bible. I also have the Thru the Bible commentary set by J Vernon McGee. I have way too much stuff but I use all of it. As for your content, I’ve loved everything you’ve put up so far. I’m slowly making my way through your videos.
Welcome! I think you'll enjoy the Bible Knowledge Commentary. I haven't tried a discbound system but they look very interesting to me but I'm glad you're able to use everything you have!
Just started putting my tabs in. I ask Siri to let me know what the Bible says about a certain topic. And it gives me all the passages that I need to tag, but some of them are a lot. So I’m taking it slow.
I bought Mildliner highlighters that bled through all my Bible test pages. Is there a separate Bible type that is truly non-bleed through because the ones I got said no bleed through most pages. Thanks for your help! ❤
@@wendycoop That’s the kind that I got too. So many people love them, I just don’t understand why they aren’t working out for me especially since I tried them on 3 different Bibles’ pages.
I will not shop at Target. I stopped in 2016 (?) when they started allowing both sexes to use the bathroom of their choice. Since then, their policies toward the alphabet community have continued to keep my personal boycott against them alive. I don't mean to turn this comment into political commentary, so please forgive me. I just believe that I personally have to hold to my convictions. And, I'm sure Target isn't going broke because I quit shopping there. I do pray for that community, sincerely hoping that their eyes will be open and their hearts will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. All of mankind are God's creation. I pray for everyone who need to know that Hell is real and God wants none to perish.
Neither will I ever enter a Target store. I have boycotted them for the same reason. They are not making the profits that they used to. This must not upset them. Too bad.
I love the Titanic. It's an amazing piece of history. It looks absolutely baller in her kitchen. I like to imagine little hors d'oeuvre's on it for guests at a themed party.
Thanks Alex! I never thought about the little hors d'oeuvres! My husband's favorite joke is that the Titanic's swimming pool is still full. Get it? LOL!
