The maze guide; How do you 'beat' the game, and how do you avoid the monsters? The 'White Object?' in his inventory was a piano key. If you go to the left of the camper, follow the footsteps and go that way for a bit, a strange structure is there. Go inside and to your left there will be a weird fallen down shelf. Take the 'White Object?' and continue left from the structure. once you see a river, go to the other side of it. There will be a piano. Once you put in the key, A message comes from the top like a piano sheet. It was supposed to be a clue to defeat the game, but they scrapped that idea and now it says; "Maze Reboot Update 4.5". So, there is not a way to defeat the game yet, but an update date for when the time comes. The phone, in my experience, also attracts monsters, as when I enter a number and call it, 30 seconds later I hear the orotund(tall skeleton monster). But that might just be my bad luck, so I have no idea. When you hear the orotund, it can only get you if you do not look at it. if you are against a wall, or looking away from it, it won't attack. It also sees movements, so its kinda like the T-rex. The cajoler(small, masked monster) relies on hearing, so it attacks large groups. it hears the multiple footsteps. that's why it was camping the crawl spaces, because a lot of people are there, as an example, in public servers people are usually afraid of the maze, so they hide in the crawl spaces. Overall, you are better off on your own in the maze. I hope this helped! (you can copy and paste this guide if you want.)

Strategy A (smart) is when you hear its footsteps (Clang, Clang, Clang), you go the opposite way. Strategy B (smart) is to when you see it and it doesn't see you, go the other way, or if it's coming towards you but you don't want it to see you, there are tunnels everywhere; try to hide in one. Strategy C (not safe) is for when it sees you if you have the axe, throw it, then run the other way. Strategy D (smart) is that when you see a red glow, face the wall and turn off the light. Remember he can run faster than you, so you have little time, throwing the axe might take 1-2 seconds so be ready. Strategy C is only recommended if you are making a plan of attack against the Orotund (recommended with friends). The Orotund is a pitch-black skeleton, with glowing red eyes, makes a clanging sound, emits red light from its eyes, gives up easily when chasing, sometimes drags a skeleton behind it.)
