'make sacred by applying oil' can really only be anoint but 'country or territory' could be state, providence, kingdom... there's like 100 different options that could pop into your head blocking the right answer.

I can't do this at all. I can do algebra, but not anagrams. Words aren't collections of individual letters, they're patterns on the page. Did you comprehend all the letters I just wrote individually? I doubt it, otherwise you would be reading at a preschool level. I definitely commend anyone who can do this because it is just not how my brain works.

I get that the origin of the show was about giving the answers and having to come up with the question instead of the reverse, and "What is ____?" became one of the show's hallmarks, but I agree it can be grating at times after so long and think things would go just as well without it, it's just so repetitive and unnecessary for context.....Being part of the show's intellectual identity though, they'll never drop it.
