I noticed that women who are into fragrances always do prefer male fragrances. It reminds me of a trend at some point where women used to prefer wearing men's LEVI'S jeans. If it works, I'm all for it!

Monika - My Sophia will always take the odd spray or two of my small collection, Dior Fahrenheit EDT, DHI, Spicebomb Extreme, Prada Luna Rosa Black, Dunhill Icon, PdM Herod and Carlise, and CAHSEE. But she and her friends always make a B-line for ... Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche ... they just can't help themselves! Now the reverse. I have had one or two sprays of her and her friend's fragrance. There are others, but these have made an impression on me. Black Orchid - Tom Ford (come on, who hasn't?) Roses Jasmine - Mancera Holidays - Mancera Valentino Donna Noir Absolu. What do you think?
Love your Vids! The reason that "Homme" is in the name is that many men view wearing fragrances as being feminine. Men generally frown upon anything more than scented soap/shower gel/shaving cream or just a general splash-on barber shop scent. So, over the past 30+ years or so, marketing and branding of scents with "Homme" are to say to a man that - "Hey, this scent is NOT a floral/fruit bomb and is man appropriate." Over time, Dior Homme and other designer houses have introduced more metro-sexual scents during the 90's and now men will wear things like iris and more floral scents. Homme is marketing. I'm an exception to the rule. I have a large collection of men's frags - over 100, last count. And, interestingly, my go-to scents amongst the over 100 bottles I have are: Signature and dumb-reach ones... - Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme ( My signature and dumb reach. This s a gorgeous scent and I cant get enough. ) - Bleu de Chanel EDP (I also have the EDT and Parfum. I gravitate to EDP) - Acqua Di Gio - Profumo - Tom Ford - Ombre Leather (This one is finally catching on) - YSL Y Live (This one is the latest flanker and combines the best of the EDP & EDT. It's well rounded ) - Dior Homme Eau (Criminally under-rated) Others that I wear frequently: - YSL - la Nuit de L'Homme - Eau Electrique' - Versace - Pour Homme Signature - Boss Bottled #6 or Intense of Tonic ( Love all 3 ) - D&G The One EDP - D&G Light Blue Intense - Tom Ford Noir Extreme - PdM Layton - Pdm Herod - John Varvatos Artisan Pure - YSL - la Nuit de L'Homme - Dior Homme Intense - YSL L'Homme ( the original ) - Gucci Pour Homme II ( Discontinued Tea-based frag) Two inexpensive ones that I really like: - Nautica Voyage - Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction ( Blind bought as a joke, and as it turns out, its a really great frag, but, poor performance ) I own several batches of Aventus, and I have to say, it's not really that great. To me it's just ok. I actually enjoy MB Explorer better. The other 85 + or so, sit on my shelf and I wear them once in a great while when the mood hits me. Keep up the great work.
Hi Monika...yes if you love something just wear it no matter how it’s marketed!...gave you a shout out on my insta page recently regarding this topic of rocking scents targeted at the opposite sex...I love the smell of Joy by Dior...I have tried to encourage my wife to wear it but it isn’t her bag really...I think it reminds me of something my mum might wear, she is very glam and young for her years really. So when I smell it I find it really comforting. My cousin sent me a dupe of it which I wouldn’t normally go for as I like to purchase originals tbh but your influence has inspired me and I have decided to be brave and start rocking it!...it isn’t an amazing dupe and my wife has since said she likes the Dior more so things are looking up and maybe we can purchase the original wear it together! I wish we had that Sandalwood in the U.S. Some sandalwood I really love. I've smelled some rotten ones too. It is spring here in Texas. A fragrance I wear that is marketed for men that I wear is Aramis sounds like Amyris LOL. Aramis is a classic. Used to be very expensive, more affordable now. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, well we grow tobacco here in Texas. Smells so different while it's green & growing. Reminds me of my daddy's cigars. The Ideal smells like Cherry chip cookies. They have cherries, vanilla, & almond extracts. Yummy! A fragrance that surprised me, that it is marketed for women is Mauboussin by Mauboussin. Very warm & beautiful, very cozy. A man could easily wear it.
I mainly wear unisex fragrances, but I do have a few men's fragrances in my collection as well. I love Bleu de Chanel in the summer, and Armani Code Absolu pour home in early spring. There aren't a lot of good fresh options "for women" which is a shame because I don't always want to smell edible.
I just do not like the opening of chanel allure homme sport eau extreme on me as a man. The dry down is okay but I can definitely see(smell) a women wearing this more than me. Interestingly the only other one on this list I've tried is the Tom Ford TV which I find better on a women. Don't get me wrong some men probably can pull it off but I am not one of them. Surprisingly though I really like SpiceBomb Extreme on me which has a similar vibe as TV but little less gourmand.

I just purchased Moschino Toy Boy. I have to say this can be a unisex cologne. It has that rose note and a hint of clove that in my opinion can be worn by both sexes. But then again it does lean more toward masculine. I like it so far but I have to give it more wearing to really get a feel of the fragrance. I would like to see you do a review on Moschino and know your opinion. Your videos are awesome BTW, keep it going!! Much Love!!
Awesome choices, Monika! I have definitely enjoyed and worn most of the fragrances you share here. (Great minds shop alike, am i right? 😉) i actually find MFK's pour homme scents to be more appealing than the femme ones.

From my personal experience: Dior Sauvage EDP (marketed heavily towards men) is actually my girlfriend's signature scent! It started since she first tried it from my collection, and now she practically owns it. While myself, I stick to the 'more feminine' Dior Homme 🤣
Great list! I have a decant of L'Homme Ideal arriving Monday! My next sample order from MFK, I'll have to include Amyris Homme to try (several MFK do include "Femme" in his women's line names. I think there's an Amyris Femme as well). I just have to say, any woman that can rock Dior Homme Parfum, is a straight-up baller! I would be very intrigued by any woman who wore DHP, one of my favorite, most addictive scents ever! The only marketed female fragrances I've worn are Black Orchid, and a few Mancera samples like Purple Flowers, Pearl, and Aoud Vanille, all very nice.

Congratulations for you Channel, i just follow you from Dominican Republic.
I bought CAHSEE this year and fell in love with it but performance for at least the batch that I have is absolutely crap , I get like 4-5 hours at most which is very disappointing for the price . The scent however is incredible. Also bought Sandalwood Zara from your recommendation but it is very very different scent and I am learning to like it . Performance is okay on it but projection is almost non existent because I have worn it many many times and people can barely smell me they have to come extremely close to me .
I wear GUCCI GUILTY ABSOLUTE POUR FEMME but it's very easy to pull off as a man. my mother wears l'homme Ideal parfum after I gifted it to her. I would say that scent leans more feminine
I am sorry that I haven't written anything lately. I have been away in Texas and had to cut my vacation short due to the virus. I am fine but am currently self quarantined back home in Canada at my home.
Funny she's doesn't always like sweet fragrances puts in L'Homme Ideal EDP 😆 Never heard of Guerlain La petite robe noire l'extrait basically the female version of Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDP. Or Mancera Wild Cherry and Givenchy Live Irresistible Delicieuse comes close to it. BTW the Parfums de Marly picture was Pegasus not Herod. Herod is dark grey. Amouage, Armaf and Dolce and Gabbana use pour femme in the line.
Something perfumers and marketeers should remember: You‘re having a strong point that you don‘t want to smell sweet all the time (and I don‘t know any female youtuber limiting herself to female frags only), but sometimes you want to smell e.g. fresh or ... Didn‘t realize this earlier.
DHP has not been discontinued. That's been an ongoing FragComm rumor for over a year. I just picked one up over a month ago off FragranceNet. They show up there periodically, but sell out quick. You can still find them online for about a hundred bucks for the 2.7 ounce bottle if you look around, especially in some of the more reputable Facebook fragrance groups.
I'm huge fan of Chanel AHS eau extreme. Fantastic scent, also great longetivity and projection. You should definitely try paco rabanne 1 milion Lucky and YSL Y edp, Belive me! Great chooice for Spring tome.

Too funny, I own all but one of the fragrance in this video. BTW I purchased S4ND4LW00D based on your recommendation on a previous video. I only got to wear it twice. I picked it up by the cap when it came apart sending the bottle to the ground shattering. I finally replaced it last month. I own and wear a few fragrances that are marketed for woman. My favorites are Guerlain - La Petite Robe Noire Black Perfecto, love that cherry and Aqua Allegoria Mandarine-Basilic. Thanks for the list!

I dont either...Ive smelled it multiple times expecting to be wowed each time, and all I got was a "meh"... talk about a mediocre fragrance...not terrible, but certainly nothing to rave about....doesnt smell anywhere near as luxurious and expensive as ppl make it sound...I would wear it, but I definitely wouldnt spend money on it.
