So… if you’re shouting regularly use 24fps but want to do slow motion then increase it? What if you’re not sure if you will do slomotion? Can we decrease the FPS overall after shooting if we want to do a little of both?
If you are not sure whether or not you want to include slow motion in your video then i recommend shooting in 50 or 60fps just to be safe and have the option to slow the video down in post.
Hi Bennet, isn’t it if 25fps frame rate is not so good to do slow motion? A lot of my footage need to do some slow mo either it’s 70% or 50 % to have that smooth look
I have a cover for my iPhone 12pro and prefer to keep it on. Does the magnetic clip work on a cover? The cover is a QDOS and is a great quality. Would the cover also affect the weight and stabilisation on the gimbal?

How we open the 4k video in preimier pro or cs6 because when we recorded 4k video in our iPhone the video could not play smoothly in vlc or other media player and when we open in premier the message displayed the item has no video and audio Plz make a video to solve this problem
It depends what kind of video you want to shoot. Need slow motion? Shoot at a higher frame rate like 60fps. If you want your videos to look more cinematic 24fps is the one to choose
@@BenettGraezer but you was mentioning something about shooting 24 or 25 or even thirty fps as if it depends on the climate you are in or some how the sun has an effect. Any how I mostly going to be doing vlogs and I was try to make my vlog look cinematic as possible to standout from others; especially b roll. I think got it though; I will use your advice and see how it looks I will use 30 fps for the a roll footage and 24 for b roll footage
you would have to make sure to keep the same distance between the camera and the subject to maintain focus or use an app like filmic pro to control focus and exposure separately.
Great video Benett, I have a question if you are able to answer. I edit on DaVinci Resolve 17, and whenever I try to edit 4K video, it is very laggy as I think the 4K is very hard on the computer. I am using a Macbook air so i would have thought it could handle 4K. Do you deal with laggy footage when editing?
Try working in a 1080p project and before exporting the final video change the project settings to 4K. This should help. Another way to boost performance is to use Optimize for Playback to sacrifice the quality a bit, but deliver smoother playback. In some cases this is enough to keep the realtime playback while grading.
Shot gun mics are great if close to your mouth. BUT... mounted on the camera/phone, it's already too far away and will pick up too much ambient sound. Get a lav (my $20 PurplePanda wired lav is even better than my $130 wireless Fulaim X5). Even though lavs are omni-directional, because they are close to your mouth they'll pick up less background noise than a shotgun. I Watching ANY main line TV news channel, nearly all the reporters will be using lavs. If it's OK for them with millions of viewers, it's fine for a tiny RU-vidr like you to be seen wearing a lav. Get over it and get into the real world!!!
