I recently embarked on getting rid of makeup and weave. It took a while but my hair is finally healthy and my skin is clearing up and I’m feeling more comfy in my own skin. My next step is wearing skirts and dresses. I just don’t have the money for a new wardrobe right now but I’m hoping to put together a few things before the end of the year 😌 Update: it’s January of 2024 and I’ve been able to get a few staple pieces of skirts and dresses that I really love So excited glory to God.🥰🥰
I'm so glad that you were able to achieve this. Staples are great building blocks for wardrobes to flourish and expand slowly. Buying off season and classic pieces will help extend it as well. Resale shows are great way to locate affordable sustainable pieces too. the best of luck to you.
We should be careful about telling others about these body gateways when they’re not specifically listed in the Bible. I am a modest dressing Christian. I wear dresses only- but I don’t believe that dresses are required from scripture. In my body type, and daily activity, it’s much more modest for me to not be in pants. My church sisters dress modestly, but often are in pants, or short sleeves. They’re just careful to make sure everything fits well that their shirts are long so everything is covered. We have freedom in Christ and that is why we should be careful to say that shoulders down are naked. I truly enjoyed your video!

All your clothes is stunningly elegant. It's so classic and and lots of fashion and color. I really enjoyed the combinations and pieces. Very visually attractive and it showed your figure to a degree, but it did not cross any of the lines you defined as gateways and worked beautifully like I've never seen presented so lovely. It was like looking at a Royal. I have been wearing tank tops this summer and have really felt God pulling me into videos on modesty to redefine my wardrobe. This video really has given me the final desire to up my dress to this standard. THanks so very much for this. I see now how immodest my tank tops are and the elegance is lost.

Most of the videos I have seen on RU-vid claiming to be about a Christian modesty are actually about fashion, and about vanity and "Here's how I do what I want to do while advertising how Christian I am". They want to claim a Christian identity, but want to look like the world God has called His children out of. They are like a bad driver trying to see how very close she can drive to the edge of the road without slipping off into the ditch. Your modesty video is actually about true modesty and pleasing God. How you explain everything is very clear and convincing, and as someone who is reading the bible everyday especially where Paul was writing letters to Corinthians, Ephesians etc, i have learnt a lot and it's why i can clearly get your message! I am a Muslim and find your video very useful. That's why we Muslim women are told in the Quran to cover. I wear hijab and full long loose clothes. Looks simple yet very elegant and I feel very comfortable and modest in it. It covers our whole body, and makes me feel like a woman.

I love how you choose your words in this video. It doesn't feel indefinite, or shameful to others who don't, it simply informs those who wish to be modest for the Lord, and no one else.

I was so brazen in dress when younger and have repented but I still can improve but the Holy Spirit has changed me so much. It is His aim for me to be woman of virtue!

It is always inspiring to see Christian women who live their lives according to God’s desire for us to dress modestly. As a Christian man, I feel that God does not want women to freely show off intimate parts of their body to other people in public. A woman’s beautiful body should only be for her husband to enjoy. Another thing to note is that women do not need to be overly obsessed with the need to have extremely beautiful bodies like nice breasts and hips. Those things are not of any concern to a man who desires to marry you because he obviously knows how to appreciate every part of you as being beautifully created by God for his pleasure.
Wow nobody actually explained it to me like that and now that I know, I will be sure to use that advice to my advantage the next time I buy clothes and cardigans!

I woke up today with God making me feel a need to get rid of all my old clothes my pre-christian clothesI always found modest clothes to be very granny like but God has changed my mindset God changed ME I don’t want low cut tops I don’t want to be looked at by men to feel pretty I don’t want short mini skirts when looking online for any clothes I find myself now feeling exposed just thinking about wearing such a skirt
I often get asked in the summer "Aren't you hot?" But I wear light weight fabrics on my arms so I don't think it makes a huge difference heat wise. I feel like I draw unnecessary attention in the summer though. It is easier to be modest in the other 3 seasons.
