Cracking build, watch the whole series from the start and have to say you did an excellent job on your build mate, this is going to be a great workspace for you for many years I'm sure.
I have yet to watch all the build episodes as have been waiting for the end so looking forward to watching them in one sitting this weekend. This is something I have been mulling over for a couple of years but I seem to be thwarted by compromise because of the cost of it all. Building the thing is just part of the project. Other big costs are the base (often taken for granted), electrics, what type of roof covering, what cladding, insulation etc. The costs just spiral out of control but it was nice to see what can be done without compromise. I’m going to do a full breakdown of costs in my next video, should be ready by next weekend. It’s certainly expensive but I did it over 6 months which really helped. I also think you could build this over a longer period. So the base, then the walls and roof with the Tyrek wrap, then clad, then finish the internals. That way you’re only spending a little bit on each stage and can stagger as much as you need. Thanks and hope you enjoy the video and series overall 🙏
@@sumeraybuilds Yes, really enjoyed it. I liked the detail best and the fact you kind of give the impression that it can be done by anyone, well almost anyone. I would like to ask for something but not sure if you are able, but will ask anyway. I really like the way you review tools, unbiased and honest is how they come across. Well I need a new sander, I have several including a DeWalt and you have to fight them all and some are underpowered and some are crap. I have looked at many reviews on YT but I just don't have the faith needed to part with my hard earned. I have my choice down to 2 (Bosch GEX33-6N or Makita BO5041/2) The Bosch is about £100.00 dearer than the Makita but so long as it is £100.00 better I don't mind. I will not pay for Festool as I am only casual and cannot justify the cost, also have heard the Bosch GEX33 is better than any Festool but I just don't know. Which is the best sander for the money?
@@alexcollins9513 I've used the festool sander and it's insanely good, on a totally different plane of existance when it comes to sanders. I have two sanders, the battery powered Makita which honestly isn't very good and a Metabo corded sanded which is miles better. The Bosch you mentioned is 400W and 150mm so it's bigger and more powerful, the Makita is 125nn and 300W. Therefore it's easy to say the Bosch is the 'better' choice, based on the power & size. That's just my take based on the Screwfix descriptions. I've not tested either of them so wouldn't want to make a solid recomendation until I have. Good luck!
