I watched the pride parade on TV 🏳️‍🌈 , but up north , there was not a hint of celebrating “Pride” . How are you feeling ? You look great , so I am sure all this test came back negative 🙏 I can`t say for sure but the sensitivity you are feeling could be the hormones doing there thing. 😇 So sorry you have to wait another year and a half , but just think how fast it will go by. 💞 I have not gone to any groups up here lately either , just like you mentioned , we would sit in a tiny room go around with introductions , then it was time to leave , there were that many and some were sitting on the floor. 😢 I would like to start my own , but there is no place I have found for a reasonable fee for a meet and greet , I would have to charge about 50 per and no one is going to pay that 👎 , I would not pay that. The way we are viewed is changing , but I would like to see it move a little faster , but at least we are not being forced back in the shadows. 💪. +. 🏆 OK , You and Julianna take care , be well , and thanks for the update , and yes you were missed !! 💝 But you never need apologize for having a wonderful life , just envious !! Not sure if I shared my recent transition milestones with you. Forgive me, if I drown on and on......but my long-time therapist, the very first person I ever told my secret to, moved with her family out of state in June (she told me in April, so we had a little time to process the change and look for another therapist). Once I learned I was losing my therapist, I decided to speed up my transition at work. I came out at work to HR , my boss and a few close colleagues in April. It all went much better than I expected, so my summer has gotten quite busy. I am changing my name, which as taken 3 months and won't be official till July 18th. I had already changed my gender marker on my birth certificate a couple of years ago. I scheduled FFS (just a trachea shave and upper lip lift) for the end of July and I begin presenting as Sara at work on September 4th, the day after labor day. I have a lot of shopping to do in August to acquire a professional wardrobe. I'm also thinking about buying an expensive wig. I am a little self conscious about my thin hair on top.....but I don't know......I just want to be the very best me I can be, so I'll be more readily accepted. I've been working on my female voice for a long-time, but now I more committed. I practice everyday and record it in my planner. I never ever though I would make it this far......honestly, I pinch myself every morning when I wake up. I am so fortunate! Anyway, that's my story and I am sticking to it.
