6 MUST See MODERN DARK ACADEMIA Furniture Transformations 

This is a Modern Dark Academia furniture Makeover compilation video consisting of 6 makeovers in total.
The first one was a piece I entered in a Wednesday Addams inspired furniture challenge in which my piece won! The second makeover would be considered Modern Dark Academia Design for a few reasons. The shape of the table for one. In the original video I mentioned how the legs look like spider legs. This is a very gothic style. Also, the metal embellishments perfectly fit the mold of dark academia. The Mint By Michelle tranfer that I added was called Moody florals. The third makeover is a blend of three dark rich colors. The stencil I used has a damask pattern, which would also be considered dark academia. The 5th makeover is the most Dark Academia of them all. I received a friendly comment from one of my subscribers, pointing out that this was indeed dark academia. That was the moment that I realized how much I love the dark academia style. This  vanity would be considered dark academia for a few reasons the natural word, the Royal overlays and the moody dark wax that darkens bright green. And the last makeover is the most simple and obvious example of Modern Dark Academia. The bold purple wouldn’t be considered  dark academia, without the black wax covering all the crevices.  The style of the hardware on its own would be considered dark academia, but a mixture of black and silver really ties the look together.
