I'm slowly losing my hair, due to a number of health problems and need to cover up balding patches, I also have a thinning plait over 3 feet long that I bun. Your tutorial will help me to cover the patches up plus use what hair I have left for the styles, I'm 76 but still like to look nice. I remember my mother wearing your styles back in the fifties. Nice , thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial. 1:20 style 2 bow tie and side now tie 2:34 add a bun cushion at back 3:40 back bowtie 4:36 rolled bun, add small bun at top
Thank you SO much for this tutorial! My hair has become so thin over the years and I’ve been becoming increasingly insecure about it. I wear a hat everyday at work so I’m okay there but when I go out and run errands or dates with my fiancé I don’t always want to wear a wig because I don’t want to fuss with a wig cap or glue and wig clips pull too hard at my scalp… it’s all just too much. I wrap my hair in a turban or t-shirt when I’m drying it at home and I quite like how I look lol I like that these tutorials were so easy, I feel like I’ll be more confident ☺️ I can’t wait for the scarves I ordered to arrive!
This is one of the most clear and helpful tutorials I've seen! I appreciate how deliberate you are, and that you also list what you are doing on screen as you go. I find that very helpful to process the steps. Also, your makeup looks fabulous!
Hello from Fort Worth Texas 💚✌🏼 I'm a caucasian/native American woman trying to grow longer, healthier hair. I got some satin pillow cases, which do help and i love em. But i prefer wrapping my hair. It's been way more efficient at keeping my hair not only protected, but also frizz-free💚🥰 I'm a beginner at using hair scarves snd this was very helpful! Thank you gorgeous! God bless💚✌🏼🙏🏼 And to anyone reading this comment, may God bless you and your loved ones with peace, longevity, joy and laughter in Jesus name amen🙏🏼💚
thank you for this tutorial! being mixed but having grown up with mostly white family, you don’t get taught these things. i got very frustrated with my satin scarf when i first purchased it but this makes it very easy to understand!! thank you again
Wow, honestly this is the perfect RU-vid tutorial. Literally exactly what I needed in super clear, right paced instructions. Ok also wrapping my hair for sleep is a GAME CHANGER
Love your head wrap tutorials!!!!!!!! It is Winter now and far too cold for my usual wash-n-go style. After watching a couple of your head wrap videos, I have purchased several satin scarves as well as a few Ankara head wraps. You show all the tucking details and I have been able to rock head wraps like a Pro!! I’ve even received compliments about my head wraps from random people. Keep the tutorials coming!!! You do a GREAT job!!! I like them ALL!!!! 🥰
This is perfect I’ve been struggling with my scalp and have been recommended to try and wear a scarf for my time outside in the -20 c weather. Will try this
Thank you so much for this! I thought wrapping would be difficult but with your easy demonstration it isn't at all! I have trichotillomania and needed something badly to help me while I'm relaxing at night 😘
Thank you SOOO much for this tutorial! I've always wanted to learn how to wrap my hair while home or running essential errands (big afros aren't conducive to face mask bands!).
Love, them. The scarves to.....of course the colours are beautiful. The African prints are so out there. Well I'm 80 now so I think I can give it a go. WONDERFUL. stay safe xx
Thank you so much for your wonderful video. You're truly gifted, & thank you for sharing with everyone❤ I love all of your styles, but especially the basic bun, & the twisted bun😊❤
This is very helpful. I've had hairloss for over a decade & just decided to liberate myself from wigs. They became a crutch for me to hide my true authentic self. Today was the 1st time ever that I've been in public completely bald & exposed. It was scary as hell, but I'd rather be potentially judged & stared at by others than put on another damn wig. Any way, I wondered if headscarves could be cute too and this video proved me right :) Thank you.
Thank you for your videos. I'm so excited to try the styles!!! Question, @Gloryokings, Do you use anything under your head scarf to keep it from slipping?
Thank you cuz my bleach didn't come out perfect and I don't feel like fixing it before work tomorrow 😄 I have two big scarves, I'm about to work one of those bad boys!!
Sweetheart you are absolutely gorgeous. I clicked on your video to see you up close. The headscarf styles are easy enough for me to replicate too, so thanks for that!
I have alot of hair but bought some silk scarfs to still look cute when I need my hair wrapped up outside. I'm not messing up my hair walking outside in heat or going to the beach 🏖️🤣
Uuuuugggghhhh, I LOOOOVE the way headscarves look but I just can't do it =/ I tried all of last semester but I feel like my hair's too slippery for a lot of the styles, especially my favourite: the bun in the back look you did at ~2:34 (style 4?). I tried to keep it from slipping by tying it tighter but that just gives me a headache (especially since I wear glasses). I even used cotton/light wool scarves (more grip and texture) and they were STILL slipping off my head. Also I was worried the extra friction from the rougher textures would cause breakage over time (I was wearing headscarves almost every day) or traction alopecia from how tight I was wearing them. (for a bit of context: I am east asian so i have really coarse but smooth hair, but I have a lot of shorter almost baby-hair-esque hairs around my face and I can't stand them in my face, so I started wearing headscarves to hold them back out of the way)
Surviving Stage 2 Breast Cancer going through chemo your hair falls out. I didn't wanna wear a wig I chose scarfs I just put them on tied to them to the back. My hair has grew back glad I found you. Wish I could have found your channel earlier.
