Infinite and Werehog without question threw this game down the drain. There isn’t really any contest anymore between certain characters. Each character needs to be equal to each other, and have just as good a chance of winning as everyone else. But we all know that ain’t the case anymore. Me who still mains my favorite Sonic character, Tikal, it’s very difficult with the state of the game, yet I still try to push on, and still do somewhat well. Great vid.
movie tails was hell until they nerfed the shit out of him, but movie knuckles is still very annoying however with his stupid spear trap which is to strong for its easy to land hitboxes, but im glad i dont see as many infinites as i did before.
Movie Tails still is hell, but not completely unbearable with EMP Shield, at least. I agree with what you say about Movie Knuckles, as Spear Trap is very annoying. It cost me several races. Movie Super Sonic amplifies the problem with Whirlwind and makes Zap Trap look OP because of his scummy playstyle making players rely on back-seating. Infinite and the Werehog are still a part of the meta, but the latter is not that bad, at least, while the former is more annoying. It also sucks how these five characters are among the seven meta characters who are very likely to appear in matches 5.5K or higher, teaming up with hackers to demotivate others from playing. It sure as hell did that to me.
Can I also add in almost all the Challenger characters? THEY'RE ANNOYING AS HELL! I can't get into a single server without a LV 6 or higher. PAY TO WIN MOTHERDUCKERS.
I'm close to quitting SFSB, there's a lot of spammers and OP characters, I hate it when I get 4th place and lose 20 trophies, it was a lot easier when I first played. It's just win trophies to get on the leaderboard and meet youtubers now
The main reasons why some people quit sonic forces is because of wanting characters that they missed from events and because of that they see people using those characters that they wanted
1:05 That's true. I'm new (3 weeks) level 10 with 4800 trophies and my best char is a level 9 sonic. The game matches me up with level 15 and char level 16 people. Sometimes it's a bit frustrating to see that I don't have a chance against them. Even if I play perfect.
I quitted this game 3 years ago because of the trophy system and because i was raging so hard, i returned when infinite came out to get him, but i failed to do so so i quitted again, i recently got back because i really want to try again and i want to get infinite this time, but now i just to find the game is now very different, I'm a day 1 user so how much the game has changed is impressive to me, I'm from the generation in which metal Sonic could steal boost items and become almost unstoppable
Honestly one of the reasons for me is how hard and unforgiving special characters are to get. You usually have to hope you get lucky and get an event for a character that either exists already or is introduced. Regardless, you only get one shot at unlocking that character, and once the event for them is over, you just need to deal with not having them or having them at a low level. This really sucks, because I think there should be something something at least let's you get cards for that special character, even if their event is not on. Even if its something like an amount of cards in a season chest, or maybe you can pay some red rings to give them cards in the lighting deals section or the chest section, it would at least be something. For me, I have a level 4 movie super sonic and a level 1 super sonic with no chance to level them for the next few months, which really sucks because besides classic sonic they are my favourite characters, not even in terms of stats or how they play, just in general. The others I don't really care about that much, meaning I kinda lose the will to play the game until I hear one or the characters I like are getting an event again. Another thing is the random cards. I've never liked this in video games, and here it's no exception. If you have a favourite character that is a common like me, there is no way to prioritise your common cards to that character, you just have to hope. This is understandable for rares and super rares, but not commons. Once again, this means your favourite common will most likely have very little chances of levelling up unless you've been playing the game for an incredibly long time. All of the other reasons I would quit qnd have quit sonic forces are already in the video. Except this last one, which is that the game seems really hard to enjoy UNLESS you pay to give yourself an advantage, which I guess is kind of the main point of the game's existence, to get you to buy stuff with real money, but it should be more forgiving to f2p players imo. Honestly the only thing that keeps me playing this game is my irl friend who is interested and enjoys the game, I need to keep grinding to assert my dominance 💀
@Kaitlyn Parsons omg sameeeee the only movie character i have is movie super sonic at level 4, I want another movie event so bad but the sad reality we'll probably need to wait for Sonic 3 to come out before we get one
The game took every chance it has to screw you over, you can win 1st place and a 2nd place could get more points than you. Next thing you know, winning 2nd place also removes -1 point because we can't have nice things. And winning 3rd place is literally a 50-50 on whether or not you'll get demoted.
i played it for a couple weeks recently then uninstalled it at around 4700 trophies. My main issues with it were... -Special/challenger characters being pay to win and completely up to luck whether or not their event comes back -Latency in battles, which for the most part was pretty good, but it was extremely frustrating to watch your projectile go through someone just to have someone elses trap spawn in front of you or have another lane based item hit you even though you clearly dodged it. -Spamming items and movement. Some items are completely unavoidable under certain circumstances like Shadows storm clouds on rails or at potholes/jumps. The movement spam is very annoying to both watch and do because it just becomes whoever gets the luckiest wins the race -Lack of common characters. Theres 8 common characters compared to the 100 special characters that exist. -Lack of variety accross games. Same maps, same strong characters, you even get the same items. The items one is especially annoying cuz it feels like you have zero chance of catching up if you are in last. Even if you get hit only once youll just constantly get boosts while the people in front of you are holding their items so that they can only get boosts as well. The map variety stinks it feels like Sonic Frontiers where they made 40 levels using only 4-5 level themes. In my opinion I feel like this game is completely beyond redemption. They push content in all the wrong ways, like adding new characters when some of the old ones are completely worthless. Some of the core mechanics are just terrible also. I dont think ive ever started disliking a game after playing it as fast as I have with SFSB. It was an ordinary day where I was just thinking that every time I opened the game it felt like i chore and I dreaded playing it so I just uninstalled it and I havent missed it in the slightest.
yeah same, i lost my old account bc i had an apple Ipod, but i loved the game to much to quit, so i started again, and like 7 months later and im at 5532 trophies
I may be a bit late but what pisses me off most about SFSB is Tails’s Vault! Like when I spend a lot of time and effort to get the cards to rare characters like Shadow, Zavok, Zazz and Zeena, the little cards I get are taken into Tails’ Vault, and I have to pay real money to get the cards that I earned. And what makes it worse is if you don’t pay and get the cards out of the vault, you lose them, so all the effort would end up being for nothing! So I would have to get all those rare character points back only for Tails’ Vault to take it away. Tails’ Vault is such BS.
The game almost purposely creates problems that it solves by making more problems the only reason why strength stat exist is because people don't wanna get mario karted as easy
Yeah i have two reason that make me angry in this game: 1. Infinitite and mephiles (they're the reason that i got 4th in the battle 2. The lagging (i have restart my phone so many times because of this)
Like 1 year ago, i stoped playing Sfsb because of the boringness. It was fun at first but i just stoped playing after some months, now i lost Movie Knuckles And Super sonic. (by the way i didn't know how to save the game progress to google play games and still dont know how to)

I actually lost my account a while back regardless of syncing to Google Play. I was deterred for a few weeks, but I got back to the grind anyway. Infinite, a character I was dying to see since day 1, was coming out soon, which was the recharge I needed to get back into action.
Im back with some more complaints! Honestly i should make a video of my own at this point😅 Now, the biggest issues for me is the super nerf. This has practically crushed hope for any super mains; unless your player level is 15 or your super is above level 14, good luck getting to 6000! The new characters which have been released have made the game even more aids ngl, the prime characters and rockstar rouge are all annoying to deal with, and even pre-existing characters like the knights, ESPECIALLY paladin amy. Yes infinte and mephiles make a dirty duo but there are so many more annoying characters i just hear no one mention. Also months after this video has come out and it is still more true than ever, especially the bad trophy and matchmaking system. I shouldn't be losing up to 30 trophies because i had to go up against max level infinites and rusty rose's that were lower than me in trophies. I honestly hate thar system and being a super main during this nerf has not made anything easier. I originally got this game during the interstellar showdown event, because i wanted to play as super in a pvp game, but now im gonna quit because they've made the super terrible, so whats the point?
tbh its an elo system - if u have a high rating ur expecting to win. if ur low mmr and u win against high u are rewarded more. also getting bored? just play it in moderation. its meant to be a mobile game you play occasionally, not your main game.
The thing i hated is that back when i was level 9 my best character was a level 2 Sonic and they kept placing me with level 15 and char level 16 infinites i beat some of them and i lost almost every single one i went from 4.5k trophees to 3k trophees
The trophy system and Matchmaking is pretty okay in my opinion. Basically High Trophies vs. Low Trophies if Low Trophy player wins, Low gets more trophies and High loses more trophies If High Trophy Player wins, Low loses less and High gets less I think it works like that and it depends on your ranking in the race
I hate this system, it takes me forever to get the trophies I lost. All the low trophy people that I’m facing against are total tryhards which make me lose so many of my trophies each round.
@@firstryft The Trophies are like a quantification of your skill, the game thinks since you got beaten by a player that's supposedly worse than you, it thinks they deserve being ranked higher than you and you should be ranked lower, hence the losing more or less trophies thing, it's not so bad to stay at like 4k to 4.5k or 5k to 5.3k for a while since that just means you're around that range Also you don't even know if they're tryhards or not, some of them probably aren't even trying hard and are just better
I really get excited when i get your notifications because your videos are amazing. At this point I only play sfsb for new characters like lucky whisper. Btw i am excited for the new omega special he has invisibility for boost the first special to have it,Also because i really like omega. And Infinite was the the last time im ever going to give my money to HL because they are a lazy spiritless team of developers.
To tell the truth, it is a matter of getting used to it. I lived when infinite came out and everything was chaos, although the game is not the same. Little by little, I got used to overcoming games against the infinites, even though they hit me 10,000 times per second. It is only necessary to balance certain characters and make an anti cheat system although it is very difficult for Hard light to do this because they do not listen to their community it is the only way to fix everything

I have a big issue with the match making since I just started recently and when I got to rank 4 I kept losing despite doing good before I got to rank 4 and I keep losing, trophies. I keep getting 4th place and I might just quit because of it. If you have some tips, please help me. Edit: I really HATE Mephiles now since he just spams the stupid thing that takes away your items, please also give tips to counter Mephiles
I can handle the infinite and metal sonic abusers/spammers. My issue is with the unfair trophy and matchmaking system, how you keep getting cards for characters you maxed out and worst of all; the HACKERS😡😡😡
And also there is no ranked multiplayer and different gamemodes, they could do so many fun and different gamemodes for this but they are still stuck at this racing runner formula since forever.
Kinda a bummer for infinite lovers since they'll probably abuse them or feel like they can't use their favorite character bc they'll get targeted or have an unfair spam advantage.
The points system is true yet I have to add. The program will always put you on 1st list when youre nearing the 'rank' (for example 4900 to become 5000) have you noticed?)

You forgot one sometimes for example you are in first place then a player go forward because of not a higher level character but because of higher ring boost like come on I just quit sometimes

I had same problem like "6 losing their account". I save my game on google account anw when it is deleted i will get mad and stop playing SFSB. Because now is the best events in game i start again on other account
This game just fucks people over on a daily basis I was a lvl 4,750 and was doing good and because of the lvl and trophy system being fucked up I went down to a lvl 4,590 in just a few matches and yes I’m serious I literally can’t lvl up at this point its insane and there is a horrible balance between op and non op characters and nothing is balanced in this game
Let’s break it down 1. Got nerfed to the point that all they need to do is nerf his boost 2. Trophie system needs to be fix 3. Yah I be getting bored with the same tracks and music they need to change it up a little more 4. hackers are a problem that always gonna stay 5. I literally just lost my whole account rn I got on the game and then it told me to put my age and than it gave me the tutorial and I just used the support to see if I could get my account back
