I’ve applied and applied, but nothing so far… Do you have any opinions on the Certified Professional Trainer online courses? Is there any one that is more valuable or desirable? Are they even worth it? Thank you so much for the video and for generously offering the worksheets!

Hi Ellisa! Where are you seeing them? If someone is interested in pursuing a certification, I usually recommend getting one through ATD (Association for Talent Development) because that should be recognizable to most hiring managers. I have also taken classes through Langevin Learning which is a train the trainer company and thought they were good. My overall opinion on a certification is that if it covers topics and skills that you need/want to develop then they can be worth it from a personal development point of view. Will a single certification get you hired? Probably not.
