I can’t recall which game it was, but there was one where you had to play out the Montreal Screwjob. Bret was beating my ass during the match. It was so bad that when it got to the point where Shawn was supposed to lock in the Sharpshooter, I couldn’t do it because I was out of energy, but whenever Bret would try to pin me or make me submit, the ref did nothing. Just stood there. The match was pretty much a stalemate. So I turned my PS3 off and started over.

I like the Hardy/Triple H thing. I think playing a wrestling game as a “gm” would be awesome. Being able to script when and what moves wrestlers hit on opponents.

It’s details like those that made games like WWE so much fun to play!

I’ve gotten the scene where Jeff hardy twist of fate triple h over 90% of the time.

The All Stars secret is reminiscent of WWF War Zone. If you stand there and do nothing (or alternatively, as my brother and I used to do, have both wrestlers repeatedly run the ropes), Vince McMahon and Jim Ross get frustrated and say funny lines such as “I’m out of here, I’ve seen the chess club get rowdier than this!” and “My daughter’s nursery rhymes are more aggressive than this!” Also, I haven’t tested if it’s in the game or not, but there’s a video of every voice clip from War Zone’s sequel, WWF Attitude, where Jerry Lawler has similar lines as he does in All Stars when you do nothing. He says 4th wall breaking stuff like “Uh oh! Looks like mom caught him playing video games before homework again!” and “Hey! I don’t think you realize that while you may be taking a break, we’re still working very hard over here!”

Man i miss story modes in smackdown vs raw games. My rise is absolutely terrible in my opinion.

Man its a shame they didnt really book WM17 like that. Instead, Rock is 0-4 in WWE title matches at Mania :( But he did finally win the main event vs Cena, and did beat Austin, just both non title.... Oh and he defended the IC title vs Rikishi as The Sultan lol. Not many people defend the IC title successfully at Mania so thats something.

I have gone back to svr 2008 at the 1st ECW pay per view Triple H regained the ECW championship beating mick Foley, Undertaker and Terry funk sadly Foley and funk are now out injured funk 1 week with a concussion Foley with back spasms out for 2 weeks the 1st ECW show Foley won the ECW championship in like to book trophy dates, advertisements, ppv adverts to make it more popular I had 3.5 Star PPV drawing more than raw but smackdown is winning now I have to wait 2 months until one night stand.
