Being baptized is great - Jesus shows us that example. Jesus was baptized in a river but I don’t care if you’re in a tub, a pool, a creek, a hole in the ground, the ocean, a bay, a swamp, a trough, a creek, ect, it doesn’t matter. The transformative power is in the Holy Spirit! Good on ya for taking it to the river but our brother in Christ who made this comment didn’t mention where they were baptized nor does it matter. Let’s join in prayer that we ALL resist sin. My brother - resist the devil and he must flee. Don your armor as in Ephesians 6 and share your testimony far and wide, winning souls to Christ Jesus.
Your sins were already forgiven on the cross. Open the gift of Salvation. You can’t lose that salvation. Accept Christ as your Savior and the Only Begotten Son of God and The Father will only see His Son instead of your sin or my sin. We will still sin here on Earth, but your heart will be right and you won’t want to sin. If you do, repent and follow Christ even more so. That sin is already forgiven. All sin is forgiven. Accept and sin no more. Ask Holy Spirit to guide you and comfort you. Amen.
@jamesadkins8322 : The antichrist comes on the world scene in the middle of the last week of years also known as the great tribulation period. The church (the bride of Christ) must be removed from the world first by the groom (Jesus Christ) in the rapture of the church event.

2 Timothy 4:2-3 sparked a whole big thing at the Baptist church I go to. There's a horrible rise in moving away from even conventional Bible studies in favor of studying pseudo-Christian self-help books (which is false teaching). Similarly, I'm seeing more and more Christians using those external books and scholars to chip away at the Bible verse by verse (accumulating teachers and turning away from the truth). I'm so grateful to have a pastor like Mark who has the faith and conviction to teach straight out of the Bible without quoting scholars and authors! 🙏
Just the other day, I noticed how odd this passage should have sounded in the first century. The Internet Age is the first time this really makes sense at a global scale. Who, apart from emperors or kings, could just browse and selectively gather teachers to themselves, physically, according to their personal whims? The printing press wasn't even a thing, so even if Paul was speaking metaphorically of heretical/pagan writings, it's not like they had an extensive gnostic self-help section at the village Barnes & Noble.

@@salpacheco1971 Yeah you're right on it! Just remember that the Rapture and the Second Coming are two different things. When it talks about weeping and seeing the Son of Man coming, that's referring to Israel figuring out Jesus is the messiah and Him returning at the end of the Trib. That is when He is seen coming with His saints, which is us. We are taken up at the beginning of the Trib, which is how we're able to come with Him when He returns. Rapture happens at the beginning, Second Coming happens at the end. We get to enjoy the 7-year Wedding Supper of the Lamb, while those left behind endure the 7-year Trib. The parable of the Fig Tree speaks of Israel being reborn in 1948. The parable about the generation not passing away, tells us that the Rapture/Trib happens near the 80yr point (a generation is 80yrs). In other words, we can have exceptionally strong hope that we will be raptured on or before 2028 (but I don't know the day or hour).
@@jtirri8842 It wouldn't have sounded weird at all, it's exactly what was happening with the Pharisees and scholars way back then. In fact, it really originates in the garden of Eden, when Eve decided she wanted to hear what the serpent had to say. You don't need a library, just one or two prideful teachers who would rather try to argue with God instead of just obeying His word. These days we can take this idea much further, but this has been going on since the serpent spoke to Eve.
I've been hearing this message since 1980 when TBN started broadcasting in Seattle. Pastors telling us the rapture could occur any second. 43 years later and we're still here. Even so I'm not going to give up hope. Beware of false prophets. No one knows when.

I heard there will be seven years of tribulation (perhaps more) before Christ's second coming. From what I read, the people of the LORD will be crying day and night for deliverance from the fiery trials. O LORD God, please be with Thy people and give us strength and blessings to endure.

We are definitely seeing the signs of the end times. I love that Mark preaches truth. It is a "double-edged sword" so it should shock us and hit us right where we live! Come, Jesus, Come.
This pastor has deep spiritual insight. He is a talented teacher of the Bible. His explanation of globalism and the Tower of Babble... never thought of it that way. He's so right. People today are pushing "Be kind." The underlying message actually being, "Accept me/my sin." Speakers of biblical truth are considered not being kind.

I read those verses yesterday. I try not to get lost pinning down the details of who what when where. Just trying to stay focused on Jesus and let him tell me what I need to know. In this case it was those verses. Mark talked about how we need to just hurry through the dark part and get to the part where Jesus returns in his glory.
The office of pope fits the definition of AntiChrist if you understand the papacy or at the very least that the Pope claims to have the authority of Jesus Christ himself.
I would be cautious with the idea that any Pope is actually the Anti-Christ. Islam has the Mahdi, (Anti-Christ) who is supposed to have at his right hand the returned Jesus (False Prophet), and they have word for word the spirit of the Anti-Christ. (Deny Jesus is God, Deny he died on the Cross, claim the Jews and Christians are now the enemy of God), and for a bonus, they chop of Christian heads with alarming regularity and their version of Jesus is supposed to fight and overcome a false Jesus (Dajial "Deceitful Messiah") in the end days.

Correct, the bible states the Papacy as the 1st beast that gets its power from Satan and the 2nd beast is False Protestant America that will force the world to follow the 1st beast. They changed times and laws. The Catholic 10 commandments were changed and are not God's commandments. They changed they day of worship from the Sabbath to Sunday...hence they worship the Sun God's. In addition to that you have to remember that just because the US is culturally significant worldwide it doesn’t mean everything we are guilty of speaks for the entire world. There’s are many other nations that are not experiencing or acting In the way we are. Having said all that it doesn’t mean Jesus won’t return tomorrow. He just might.

I've always told myself that many people in history have thought the end was nigh, and putting myself in their shoes, I could always see how they got there... But, now, it's really hard to imagine this world getting too much further without needing the resolution God promised. Like, the atheist alternatives are dystopian beyond hope or human extinction, which aren't compatible with the outcomes Jesus described, so, yeah, we're close.

I heard a teaching on the line item in the list of sins that references disobedient to parents. And the person I was listening to broke it down from the Hebrew saying more accurately that it means disregard for the authority of parents. A little broader reference. And don’t we see the whole government run school system and agencies like Planned Parenthood actively usurping the authority of parents and teaching the kids to do the same?

As always with matters of prophecy, we must wait and watch, ready to learn from whatever may come.
If we don’t see the spirit of the Antichrist who Christ said is here now and has been then will we see who that spirit takes over when it does? We shouldn’t focus on who it is going to be or could be but we should look at the world and see if you could identify what that spirit is doing now.
God did not rapture the disciples, the Christians from Nero’s garden who were used as torches, 6 million Jews…. People in other countries are d$ing for their faith. The western church was taught they were special. They are not. The teaching of pre trib was not taught until 1827 by James Darby. No one preached that before. I think it’s dangerous teaching bc so many will get the mark bc they weren’t prepared for what’s coming. The Bible gives too much detail about the anti christ for us not to pay attention.
